Although, you can become friends with someone who share just one thing, as long as you both are equally interested in the thing in question. And yeah, having real-life SC2 buddy would be priceless, although I live in a very small town. So hard to even imagine people here would be interested in computer games, let alone in SC2! It's getting so bad I log on to Bnet only to feel shitty and log back out again, and I think it's because how "serious" everything has become coupled with the empty void that is Bnet (physical representation would be a horse). I just want to have some fun playing the game and if I improve that's super, if I don't that's just as dandy. Here's perhaps a bit wierd offer - I'm not playing SC2 at all, couldn't even get it to run on my poor PC if I wanted, but I'd like to get some friends to watch the tournaments, streams and day9 dailies with. I'm only playing Brood War though. I don't expect you to turn to play BW but if you ever need someone to go to skype with and watch a day9daily together I'll be more than happy to join you (and your potential other friends). It's even harder to find SC2 buddies if you don't play SC2, you know Maybe some day in the future. Anyways, take care and good luck. I also saw the day[9] episode, and actually only looked down in this blog area to see if someone had followed his advice. I'm pretty new to the multiplayer part of sc2, since I've always thought my comp couldn't manage it, but then I realised there was an even lower graphic setting. It's really fun, but I don't really have anyone to play against, since the few friends I've got are way better than me at the moment.
