Hi!

I'm a long time lurker here, and I've enjoyed every minute. And today I came across a question that I think TL can solve. Even though I work as a computer technican I've never visited ebay.com. But today I checked through their clothes and came across this.

I'm from Sweden and I like fashion, and this brand is South Korean. I have NO experience in their sizes and what their "slim fit" is compared to our european standard. I like my clothes to fit my body really good, or as some would say; "tight".

I think their collection was interesting and I like to try new things, also the dollar is really cheap atm. Time to abuse the americans

So I guess my question is, has anyone ordered clothes from that brand or other similar korean brands? How do they fit? And what's your build(body)? I'm ~174cm and about 68kg, pretty muscular but not "big".

And for europeans, returning when buying through ebay.. Should I simply give up that idea?

Thanks in advance

I don't really have much advice to offer besides that you get what you pay for, also another good site is yesstyle (huge catalog), their selection is huge but the quality for the cheaper stuff is very random.

http://www.sellerinside.com/mypage/album_img//17439/h207-black.jpg <-- like in this image taken from the ebay store, there is the cm mentions for each size. They're accurate. I'd go with that.

I'm a girl so can't really say but on guys' clothes but the sleeves are quite small for both genders, I have quite a few men's hoodies from Korea so yeah. I'm about same size as you anyways.

I don't know about the returning policies but damn that store has some awesome hoodies, I shall order some as well.

HiteEntus keeps replying on my tweets. <3 they said my Korean is awesome. ( http://twitpic.com/47r1mh ) and btw, I'm girl~

Check out this site http://www.yesstyle.com
It's all asian brands with some really cool stuff. They also have reference and size charts.

I never actually ordered from there. But I have like 40 clothes in my "save for later". One day I will order a ship load of clothes from there :D

i can tell you that after a few washes, most likely, those clothes won't look like the pictures. remember seeing some comparison irl and the ebay pictures of a few hoodies, most of them are pretty hard to pull off properly in real life. in short, you probably won't be looking like a badass anime character.

Don't expect good quality, but if you're going for the style, try buying a few pieces to test the seller out.

To be honest, the vast majority of sellers on sites like ebay(and Gmarket, Auction, etc.) are pretty low in quality. There are a lot of amazing sellers, but a lot of the shops take good pictures and photoshop a little so that it takes some practice to find the good sellers. I'd suggest buying from other sites like aboki.co.kr that has better quality and is more reliable but the problem is that you'd need a Korean to register for you and help you order.

I have no problem wearing new styles and I have a pretty good fashion sense, so I'm not going for "a badass anime character"-style. Thing is, those clothes are so different compared to standard european brands. I expect the quality to be like HM in Sweden, which is pretty poor. I'm more concerned about the size. I want the clothes to be slim! Brands with poor quality in Sweden usually have VERY bad sizecharts..

Unfortunately alot of clothes from yesstyle are enhanced by using pins, lighting and other photographic techniques. I had a friend order a coat from there and let me tell you don't get your hopes up too much

almost all my clothes are ordered in lol
either from yesstyle (some items are hit and miss, try to avoid getting items where they dont have a close up of the texture/fabric) or from wholesaledress (theres guy stuff on there too).
but go order if you like em. personally, i like how unique they are in their shapes/cuts sometimes and generally, nobody else around you is gonna have anything similar which is kind of nice =p

I don't know how clothes size in Sweden, but in North America, it's typically a size smaller than Korean sizing (check out the progaming t-shirt thread). If you are M in America, you are L in Korea.

I've never owned any piece of Korean clothing, but I know for fact that statement is true for Japanese clothes; I wouldn't be surprised if Korea and Japan share similar sizes.

Just click on any of the items that they are selling, they have the measurements listed for the different sizes in both cm and inches. If you don't have a measuring tape, just use a piece of string and mark it and then measure it.

EDIT: note that this img is screenshot from some random jacket I clicked on. Other sizes could be different.

Thank you, but how do I measure the chest? Shoulders made sense, but I got like 46cm in shoulders and 92cm in chest. Are they measuring the clothes? That's wierd. I want it accurate!!
