I finally made it out of gold into platinum with almost 3100 points. Gold was the most annoying league yet. all cheese and i went back down to silver twice  but so far in platinum, all the terrans are the most annoying people in the world with their mass marauders. they never do anything else ever. zergs are better, they do all kinds of diffrent stuff and the pvp has gotten better its not all only 4 gating. usually goes to immortals and collsi and sometimes a second expo. but yea im just hating terran i have to agree with what idra says about them. I won't repeat it here but most of you know how he feels about the matter 
anyways thats it for now.

I like PvT. For some reason the matchmaking gives me like 60% zerg, 30% protoss and 10% terran - doesn't make sense. Anyways, good luck getting to diamond now :D

High five! I just made it into platinum myself yesterday (with 1100 points). I had a pretty good time in gold though, actually, with maybe 1 game in 20 being some kind of cheese... I've only played a couple games in platinum so far, but my initial impressions are -- PvT: early game I'm safe, I get rolled by midgame all-out attacks, but if it gets to the lategame my army is more or less unstoppable; PvZ: I either lose in the early game due to bad ramp management (missing FFs, even messing up my wall...) or win handily with a midgame push, or get to the lategame thinking "he's so passive, this is nice, I can just sit back and expand and macro up WHAT how there are 10 ultras and 15 broodlords in my natural..."; PvP: time to learn what makes a defensive 4 gate different than an offensive one.

when i was in diamond a few of my game's where cheese but i was getting a lot of nice macro games but when i got promoted to masters for me its like 60% of games are some sort of cheese i thought it would be lower anyways congratz on getting into plattinum!

PvT is my favorite matchup. They have a lot of powerful builds but it seems like P has a fighting chance if they scout it.
