Noone "cares" about a game of pick-up ball either, but noone would appreciate you passing to your friend on the other team. There aren't teams in FFA, so you're analogy isn't accurate. There are only individuals. If there were two teams, helping the other would be directly hurting yourself. But since there are 4 individuals, helping your friend is still beneficial to yourself. Diplomacy is a part of FFA, I guess. (I don't play any FFA. I think the only reason most people play it is for achievements.)

Diplomacy is a part of FFA, I guess. (I don't play any FFA. I think the only reason most people play it is for achievements.) Do you know what an analogy is? It's something that's like something, but not all the way. I hate when people say, "your analogy is not accurate" when they are, in fact, the ones incorrect. If an analogy was something that was exactly like something, it wouldn't be an analogy. It would be what it is. It would be a definition or synonym. So yes, my analogy was accurate because it depicts an unfair advantage by two people on opposite teams because they play in a way that the game was not intended to be played. Does it describe 100% the unfair advantage like it does in SC2 FFA? No, that's why it's an analogy. Otherwise, I could have said the obvious, but that defeats the purpose of an analogy, doesn't it? BTW, it's "your" analogy, not "you're" analogy. It isn't cool when people pick on something you say for no apparent reason, is it? Especially when you're wrong. Ok, I'll stop being rude now. And, no, this is completely different than Diplomacy. It doesn't even compare. When you join an FFA game beforehand, with the intentions to not attack each, that's not diplomacy. That's just FFA abuse. Sure, it's unranked, but it definitely ruins the fun for people. I'm NOT just assuming they were friends beforehand. They have hundreds (I think, can't really count them all) of games played with each other ladder in 2v2 and 3v3, and as soon as I left (the other already left), they immediately started trolling me and asked to 1v1, meaning they left the game right away. Obviously, they had no intention of even fighting each other. I told them to give me a second to fix my lag, but they dodged/ignored. Obviously, they had no intention of starting a 1v1 either. I didn't know until after the game that they were friends when I checked their profiles, and they left ended the game without fighting each other. That's why I didn't just leave.

teaming happens all the time even when the teaming players don't know each other if a well known player is playing.
