Alright my school does Valentine's day candy grams where you can send a card, flower, and hershy bar for 5 bucks to anyone of your choice.
The prank in question would be to send a candy gram to a girl and on the from line put the name of an unexpecting victim and then watch the result. As I see it, it ends three ways.
1) girl rejects unsuspecting friend, lawls ensue.
2) girl accepts proposal, and throws self at victim who will have no idea what is going on, but slowly connect the dots and enjoy a new girl friend. Also he now owes me a girlfriend.
3) girl accepts proposal, but victim is to stupid to understand what is going on then tells girl it was not him, hurting the feelings of the girl.
I am on the fence about this and feel like he wouldnt prank me like this, but my teacher said it would be a great idea and he is almost never wrong about things that are great and prank related.

I say no. He's your friend, I presume he's used to pranks/cool with it. But it's not fair on the girl.

In my experience, candy grams usually end up being some casual/fun event. I think the girl won't take the candy gram as seriously as you are predicting.

Happened to me actually.
Received a fake gram from the girl I had a crush on. Embarrassed in front of the whole class.
Then confronted the guy and threw a piece of paper at him. Accidentally hit his eye, to which he deadlegged me, I ended up half-crying, and embarrassed myself more.
So for the sake of protecting other people's dignity, don't fucking do it.
By the way, I was in 6th grade though, so it MIGHT be more acceptable now if you're in high school/college.

new prank, get a cow and make it walk to the top floor of your school, see cows can walk upstairs but not down, it takes a crane to get it out.

Depends on the two people involved... probably not a good idea if you pick a person who is really shy and nobody really knows, since you don't know how they will react. Be nice!

Also, make sure the candy gram tells the girl to go to some obscure part of the school, it usually takes a crane to get it out.

It really depends how likable/unattractive your friend is. The more unattractive or on the border he is, the better the prank.
Goal - laughter, but not toying with people's emotions too much.

I'm fairly certain that *some* people in school take relationships and the possibility of relationships seriously. And that's sarcasm; it's definitely the case that some people do. Don't risk hurting others' feelings by sending jokes like these.
How would you like it if you had a secret crush on a girl, and you told a friend of yours who sends you a candygram *from her to you*? And then you approach her and then she laughs in your face?

Totally depends on the people. There are people I would feel ok doing this to, others I wouldn't even consider it.

Partially related story: I was in 8th grade and I was going to ask a cute girl to dance with me at the school dance and I chickened out standing in front of her. I panicked and told her that one of my friends wanted to dance with her and I'll never forget the look on her face going from happiness and hope to total disgust. I didn't intend to hurt her feelings when I did it, but that was how it turned out.

Just to clarify the victim is a 6'3 wr on the football team and defiantly would not be emotionly hurt, probably just a bit embarrassed. Whats holding me back is i dont really know how the girl would react, i know her ok and she is defintly the outgoing type and i doubt she would be actually offended and just find the whole thing funny but Im not 100 percent certain.

Nobody takes those seriously. The girl would have to be extraordinarily weird to blow it out of proportion. Everybody sends those things to everybody. We pranked a few teachers to see responses and it was just harmless fun.
(attractive female student sends a candy gram to a male teacher and the message was read outloud and the teacher would act all sketchy and shit lol)
(students would send one to a female teacher "from" a good looking male teacher with a cheesy note that was also read aloud and depending on who it was they'd blush/laugh or act all coy)
Just don't do it to somebody who would be weird/prude enough to take those seriously.

EDIT: Forgot to mention numerous students were pranked. Myself included, but it was all good. A random person knocks on door during class with cupid wings and announces candy grams and notes according to direction. It's mildly embarrassing when your friends prank you cuz the note is read aloud to the class and is sooo cheesy but still very funny.

Just do it to 2 people who aren't emotional wrecks in the first place and there's nothing wrong with it. If it turns out bad just admit you pulled a trick on them and suck it up.

just be clear who you are pranking
either do it to a girl you know that doesnt like ur friend and have ur friend in on it and have some fun making the girl feel awkward but liked
i.e. a really hot girl who probably wont have her feelings hurt if she finds out its a joke
or tell the girl ahead of time and tell her to play along
in fact send it to multiple girls and have them all play along differently - one girl is weirded out (making ur friend feel awkward), one girl falls in love with ur friend (which could be hilarious), one girl knows its a prank and gets really mad at him, another tries to get really serious with him, etc etc
can be a lot of fun on him before he figures out they're all in on it
you can make it work but you have to let one of the parties know whats going on - probably the girl as you don't want her to get legitimately hurt

at our school probably half of the candygrams were pranks, it's no more serious than a rumour that "so and so likes so and so" and god knows those pop up all the time whether they're true or not. if my friend caught me checking out a girl i wouldn't hear the end of it for a month or two and the girl would probably get wind of it. no big deal
