Am I ever glad I didn't go through high school and early college with all that prolific facebook crap! She needs to grow up, you probably need to grow up, and there's no contingency I can think of that has you stay with her.

I would suggest just dumping her in a low-key sort of way. Choose your method of communication and just let her know things aren't working out. (hopefully you guys don't end up fighting)

You are both still young and it kinda shows, if a douche posted something on my GF's fb i would start with talking to her, then i would give him a call or go have a chat with him (not to beat him up or anything, but to talk to him). There is literally nothing to be gained arguing about it over facebook...
If you are gonna break up i would suggest doing it straight up: "Sorry this is not working out between us, i am not happy with the relationship and see no future in it and have made up my mind that the best thing for both of us is to break up. No, you cant change my mind and i see no point in discussing details, it is over."
