Time to switch races

I'm kinda bored with protoss right now, i enjoy things like blink and forcefields, but I really don't like the seemingly limited # of builds that i can use. I played some terran back in the beta and I believe that they better suit my background macro with focused micro style of play. I'm looking forward to octodrops, banshees, thors, and of course marines/marauders. Currently platinum, but i'm sure i will drop to gold until i learn all the stuff i need to know. The one thing i'm not looking forward to is TvT :$

Any good reccomendations for standard builds in each matchup? I used to do mostly MMM back in the beta.

EDIT: Also I just realized how simple the terran macro mechanic is compared to protoss. You just hit the mule button and click a mineral, no need to figure out which building i should boost or if i should just save it, only decision is do i suspect detection, and if so, save energy for scans.

Don't be afraid of TvT, its one of the funnest mirrors out of both sc2 and bw imo.

As for builds, you could try to be like Foxer and make as many marines as humanly possible TvZ.

That should fill your micro requirements. :D:D:D

yeah P's shitting me a bit lately, ive just resigned to the fact that i have to robo in PvT, robo in PvP (collosi, and if you dont robo evryone DT's), and PvZ is the only time where i really get to use a dif tech path

I played 400 games during the summer (at least) on ladder as a highish diamond Protoss. I switched to T a month or two ago and haven't looked back since. The flexibility is amazing and you can really let your micro and creativity shine with Terran. Also, TvT is, in my opinion, amazing despite how much some people bawl about it.

Hey bro he's just talking about switching his race, no need for flames.

To op, I'm Toss and I off race as terran whenever I get bored. Actually I play terran for most of my 3v3s as well. I think terran is a good off race for toss players because it shares some mechanics.
