I honestly regret it, and I apologise to everyone I've been rude to, but at this point it hardly means anything because I'll inevitably do it again sooner or later.  As for getting out of the shit-talking habit. I just focus on the mistakes I made during the game and immediately go into a reflective state. That being said, it isn't abnormal to tell someone they are garbage, have no skill etc. I'll do it occasionally if I'm in a bad mood and get cheesed. I always say GG to people who outplay me though | ||

First, try not gging at all and just leaving the game at first then slowly, just type just g, signifying you understand that you both played a game. Eventually, slowly start adding semi positive things to the g, such as "You don't make me want to kill myself, g", "I lost this game, g", "you beat me, g", "average, g", etc. | ||

If you don't honestly regret it then you are an asshole like a lot of us are to people online, and imo it's not much to be ashamed of. It doesn't imply anything about your personal life, maybe just what's underneath. I personally have no qualms about dishing out some hate towards people who I believe did not deserve to win over me (luck does play a part in SC, and I try to be realistic). | ||

Really, if you lost, you must be frustrating or whatever, just quit the damn game without GG. Its ok. Why spend 5 mins to whine and insult your opponent because you lost O_O ?. When I lost, if I played like shit and throw the game away, I simple just quit w/o gg. If I feel I actually played a gg and still lost, I type GG and quit. OP you should try to do the same. | ||
