People have died doing such things.
OP, try and take care of your body please! So I take it you've never pulled an all-nighter for school? Studying/doing work for school overnight is also taxing on a body but a lot of people do it regularly. I will agree that there is a smart way to spend those 26 hours of BW (with a pitcher full of water and some crackers, at least SOMETHING), but the point still stands.

Although what you did isn't commendable I'm nonetheless impressed as I can hardly do anything for more than 1 or maybe 2 hours straight without stopping to do something else. How's your BW addiction affecting your school performance? I also go to UofT. :D

Too bad, the world record is 50 hours by a Korean man who died.
Try to beat it!! gogo

I guess his other posts are probably bad but I do think this poster is right that not eating and not drinking for 26 hours is very bad. Plus not sleeping. It is a very poor choice and poor choices are truthfully the evidence of idiocy although there are probably nicer ways to put it. Oh I guess this post was edited so it probably worse before or something. Not eating is ESPECIALLY bad if you are doing something as mentally exhausting as Starcraft. Starcraft needs more calories than physical exercise, probably, I know I took a 4 hour GRE and forgot to eat before it and I could hardly walk at the end and SC is probably more demanding and 26 hours of it could be a really big problem. I mean someone died from playing WoW for what 48 hours? And SC takes a lot more energy than WoW so 26 hours could have severe health effects and you have to worry about it becoming lethal at some point.

I've heard of people studying for 24 hours straight.

This is not dedication or anything positive because this obviously isn't a way to get better.
My guess is you're covering up severe depression or anxiety.
