These are the people I respect and feel bad for, but when there is some fat ass chick drinking a large soda from mcdonalds I feel nothing.

Snorlax, I commend you for your efforts in biking if you actually do it 5x a week for over an hour. However, that routine is not going to get your body to adapt very much unless you vary it up. It's likely your body has adapted to the workout cause you probably do the same thing every day. Yeah, you burn a few extra calories, but you don't get the added benefit from muscle adaptation.

I recommend a variety of weight lifting and cardio. You'll see the most progress with a lot of different work outs. Vary intensity, duration, weight, time, distance and activity. If you've got the money, a Crossfit gym is an awesome place to go. You work out in a class, so you feel more pressure to keep on the schedule and they do the programming for you. It's a really positive atmosphere and they will help you with all aspects of your goal whether that is fitness or nutrition. There are a lot of good looking people at my Crossfit gym and I would recommend it to anybody.

Working out is only 20% of the issue though and it will mostly influence your body composition, but not your weight. Your diet is what you really need to get squared away. I don't know how much you understand about insulin, but it would be worth doing some research on it. Basically, insulin is a hormone that promotes storage in your body and it is affected by the carbs you eat. As you are trying to lose weight, you want to always eat low glycemic index carbs so that your insulin never spikes. Also, because you have that condition you really need to be careful with the amount and type of carbs you eat. Sugar is just a terrible idea as it is high glycemic index. Overall, I think you should just really limit the amount of carbs you eat.

Can you give us an average day of food for you? I think if you write it down, you can start to figure out what the problem is. Also, you should try and cook your own food. Only stock up on food that is difficult to eat plain and requires cooking cause I find that I don't eat enough when I have to cook something.

I'm sorry for the ramble, but don't get depressed by the big stuff. Yeah, it's a daunting task, but there are so many small things that you can focus on and they will all add up. Good luck!

I don't have any advice but I'd like to make you feel better! I guess all I can do is send my regards.

Edit: You also got my 2222nd post.

Just put yourself through some physically draining, challenging exercise. If I was you I would put everything else aside, be it school, work or friends, just work hard every day, even if you struggle hard. You don't deserve to look good unless you make this effort. Don't blame anything on your condition either, plenty of skinny people are living with it.

I have a lot of compassion for people with food addictions that are struggling to lose weight. A smoker can stop hanging around other smokers and a heroin addict can stop cold-turkey with some effort... but how does one avoid an addiction to something that sustains life?

Food is everywhere, being eaten by everyone, at least 3 times a day. How in god's name can someone get their mind off of it when it is so ingrained into every society on this planet?

thanks for the overwhelming amount of support was really not expecting this! just
@Greycone thanks a lot for the specific advice I should mix up my workouts more.

Also @Cambium pretty much what a very simplistic explanation of what it does is make my eating super efficient. I get a lot more fat from food because my body responds with more absorption more quickly (for those who know more about this I know its not 100% accurate but I'm trying to keep it simple)

@DivinO I am honored thanks man <3

Thanks again TL for being so supportive I really was in a bad place last night but despite having a migraine today (hence me posting at 12:30 PM) I have been in a way better mood and have had a much easier time. I know its only Day 1 so I might be jumping the gun but this has really helped me both to get my thoughts out and also to see the support.

I'm an experienced cyclist, so when you mention that you aren't losing a lot of weight from biking for 1-1.5 hours a day, I think tha you can improve your cycling to burn more calories and get better exercise. If you would like any help, please send me a PM, and I can see if there's anything that you can do to improve your biking.

Although I'm not overweight, I used to be really skinny and not muscular. I always wanted to be muscular but then I never got around to working out consistently enough to make a difference. I finally got motivation to make myself better when I met this girl that I really wanted to appear better to her. With that motivation, I worked out harder and more consistently than I have before. I eventually got to the point where I also improved some other things about me like hygene and character. Make sure it is a tangible goal though, the thing was that I actually had a decent chance with this girl and I eventually asked her out because of this.

I think that if you get advice like eat 1200 calories a day, or to work out for two hours a day; you're not going to be able to do either one. Meet somewhere in the middle. Eat 2000 calories a day and work out for one hour a day. If you have a busy day, then you could eat only 1200 calories if you don't have time to work out. If you eat a bunch one day, then just work out for two hours.

Good luck with all of your medical treatments too. I understand that it is very difficut to have to go through hospitals and surgeries, but hang in there!
EffOrt. That is all.

I suggest getting some cat ears, and maybe jutting your lower canines out more often.
AdministratorHey HP can you redo everything youve ever done because i have a small complaint?

I myself have seen results from not much change. Just a little extra exercise and watching my diet. The tough part is consistency. I can eat healthy for say a month, but have troubles keeping it up since I slowly go back to my old ways.

Couple tips I have. Drink water. A lot of the time I get cravings to snack, but a bottle of water really helps me between meals at times.

I don't know what your diet consists of. But I know eating protein and fiber help you feel full for longer.

Good luck.

i have no choice but to tell people in your situation: if you want to be thinner, eat less. learn to deal with hunger sometimes, just eat less calories. man up and don't do things just because you want to, do what is good for you.

but, if you don't want to do that, I will say:

Have you heard of incontrol?
have u seen his body?

try serious weightlifting.
