On my normal license plate, that I had before, I had 3 letters and 4 numbers, with a NY State symbol between them. For example, a typical license plate might be ABC [NY Symbol] 1234. However, if one orders a vanity plate, you can delete the NY State symbol, which takes up about the space of a character. So the vanity plate limit is 8 characters. Believe it or not I actually considered getting 6 POOL, too. However, I think I've used that strategy about once in a ladder game, so I figured it didn't suit me very well. | ||

I don't think it's intentional at all since Finnish licence plates are always like "XXX-###" with 3 characters and 1-3 numbers and he had totally random numbers there. PS. For "AIU-12" (I've started to change my race, too ;o) | ||
