Yes it's a stereotype throughout asia (korea, Japan, etc) and one likely to not go away. However, everyone stereotypes, and America was guilty of it during the WWII era with all our propaganda against Germany and Japan.
There's some interesting ideas that describe our view of a standard stick figure character. What ethnicity would you say it was? Most would default as white. If you put two slants on their head, most would say it's asian.
Hell, everyone in the states assumes every asian person knows kung-fu, and they are portrayed in movies and media as such, and no one thinks it's a big deal.
Japan and Korea, as well as other asian countries don't have a very diverse population, and even have ways to racially degrade eachother based on their differences in appearance.
It's all about being human. As long as we're different these things will persist.

Why would anyone like Jews? Well besides money, they have a big nose. If I had to guess I'd say that comic is about whitey sticking his nose into foreign affairs. But maybe the stereotype is the basis of the joke.
It's kind of funny that you feel discriminated against because when I was in Korea everyone was getting moist over my nose. One woman asked if it was real because she thought it was like impossibly sharp. I think in general Korean guys are insecure about Korean girls finding foreign guys attractive. It gets to the point where they consider girls sluts over it. So yeah, there is a social problem, but I don't think it's one that you have to take personally.
