Bonjour TL.net
Two days ago i decided, since i'm free for a month anyway i would fly to korea this week. I'm expecting a call from my travel agency today.
I already talked with Blizzard Support asking for a possibility or temporary account for me to be able to play on kor-server, even stated i dont care if i have to buy the game again. But their response was basicaly "yep you got that right you can't just buy the game, nope your money wont buy you an account buddy and no we wont give you a testaccount. But hey you should be able to play on europe, we think, don't quote us on that, phil from tech should now, but he's not here, franz never been to korea and i'm bored by you..."
So the TL.net koreans are my last bastion of hope. I don't expect anyone to share his account of course, just find a way for me to play, hijack your bosse's nan i dont care, i pay for the copy and you can keep it afterwards because back in switzerland i wont have any use for it anymore.
I'd be a happy chicken if someone is able to help me here! Write me a PM if you don't want to msg me here!

That said, why go to Korea just to play sc2, something you could do from your home? This might encourage to do more than sit around in pc cafes

I don't fly around the world for SC2. I would have waited for proleague & co season then. Just want to be able to play when i want and not dress up as a girl for some nerdy kid to lure his battle.net account out of him.

edit: in taiwan it's similar system, need taiwanese id for any online games. my friends just thought one up and it worked lol

Koreans have used the number too much for a long time so just number is not enough for identification. Everyone knows checksum algorithm of KSSN and more than 50% of the numbers were leaked already. Now most websites check its validity in various other ways.

Yeah, some non-serious websites only check the number and its real name match. A leaked number and name pair works in such cases. But KR battle.net and most Korean online games check its validity with his/her own cell phone or digital certificate.

Already walked around a bit. And since im tired and dont know anybody here i go clubbing now and let karma decide were to suck me in and spit me out.

easier would be to just stand around subway or whatever all day until someone leaves their purse/wallet. Or just pickpocket, take the card number down and then mail it to the guy without stealing anything.
