*sigh* I'm stuck in Platinum with almost 900 points. No!! Come on Blizzard, I have like 900 points, I have about 8 more wins than losses. I'm beating diamond players, and platinum players. Please. Just promote me! So I can feel really good, like I accomplished a goal that has been bugging me since day 1!

Please? With a cherry on top?

That reminds me..

If cherry's are on top of pleases, what are pleases on top of?? The question? Then the question is on top of the cherry because it has more letters than the word "cherry".

it might be a good thing to not get promoted...

i was rank 1 plat for about 3 weeks.. playing all hours to get to diamond. had about 200 more points then the guy below me and i still didn't get put up.

after finally being put into diamond (i got placed in at rank 20 diamond) i pretty much stopped playing ladder cos i had finally achieved diamond... everything got too hard playing rank 10 and below people... i had more fun in plat. i think im still in diamond but i dont really play sc2 any more...

And uh, sorry, but 900 platinum is apparently where you are getting a pretty even win ratio. If you improve I bet you'll be moved up in no time.

it's not about points, it's about skill level. You can get as many points as you want just by playing people your own skill level and never beating better opponents. If you are beating diamond players, you may be beating diamond players that are on losing streaks and moving down. If you consistantly beat them, then you get to fight people that are on par at low diamond. You have to beat those guys consistently in order to get promoted.

Thing is, I am doing that actually. I am beating diamond players quite consistently, and doing really well on the ladder, sometimes I lose games, but I'm playing a lot of diamond players, and they don't seem to be on losing streaks or anything like that when I check after the game, and I win. Well, it's time to keep fighting with the Eye of the Tiger on continuous loop.
