So I was super pumped for MLG. Although sadly Fnatic scheduled my flight for 6:50 am... And I missed it. So I'm obviously fucked, I called the airline and some Indian woman tells me it'll be $1000 to change my flight.
WTFRUSRS ? I said fuck that shit.
Got to the airport (btw fml for going out last night and staying up until 2am), ran up to the counter and said 'I have a flight leaving in 10 get me on that bitch' ... No dice, GG no RE the lady told me.
Thwarted, I went to another desk where a nice persian woman was and I tarof'd the shit out of her for another ticket (hopefully there are at least 2-3 persians on TL who will get what I just said) and only had to pay a $25 fee. Ezez!
So here I sit in the terminal waiting another hour for my flight. I'll be arriving in NC at 8pm, I feel bad because Gretorp and TT1 will be waiting like 5 hours for me now, but fuck it...

You seem to do the airplane thing the same way I do. I never miss a flight but I'm sure your body is feeling the same things mine does. GL mate, keep those other nerds on course. Fnatic hwaiting.

My dad set his alarm for 5am , I set mine for 5 30 ... Neither of us woke up... I was up at 6 then I was like 'uh fml my flight is in 50 minutes' ... Plus I went out last night (probably a mistake). Uexjjcjcjcjs
W/E at least I made it without my bank getting owned TT

Lol I wouldn't miss this event for that, but 1000 bucks to switch flights the fuck? From my experience most airlines, if you miss a flight, will usually be pretty gracious and try to offer you the next available open seat for a very very small fee (under 50 bucks).

When you buy a ticket with a lot of anticipation and also the most economic one is really cheap.
To give u an example... when I traveled from UTAH to FLORIDA my roundtrip ticket was like 200$... when I was coming back home from FL to UT, I missed my flight that afternoon and had to work the next day...
