Sounds like a weird topic but you know, after listening to some music here and there, I end up having a nolstagia experience again and went back in time and thought about my past.
Most interesting however was that I could remember the very first day of when I felt I was alive.
I was around 4-5 years old. I woke up in my bedroom in an apartment I used to live and everything felt weird. Everything was new to me like I never been there before but it felt so familiar. I got off my bed and the first thing I noticed was the door. It was litterally like I just recently spawned on that bed and came to life. I entered through the door and all I hear was life coming out of it. The familiar sounds you hear in the kitchen, birds chirping out in the balcony, TV is on with some program on it and I was curious. I don't even know how I can even interpret my own language or english but I understood every single word that came to my ear. I spoke to mom and dad and I was asking who am I and who are they? and appearently everything made sense to me that mom and dad was, well, mom and dad. Then I don't know why but we had to go somewhere and mom showed me how to get out of the house and put on my shoes. Coincidentally, the shoe area became my favourite spot, infront of the front door. We went outside (or rather, I went outside for the first time) through the elevator and whatnot, to the parking lot and everything was very vivid and lush with life and color.
There really wasnt much to talk about but I basically went to the parking lot where a small playground is and iunno but it was hella fun. After going back upstairs to home, I met my sister and explored her bedroom. All of these stuff I never seen before (a computer, big ass mirror with lots of makeup, a huger bed then mine and whatnot) and for some reason I discovered what would then babysit my ass for the next 10 years:
My Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis. I had a huge catalog of games to choose out so I end up spending the day playing, eating dinner (where the hell did I learn how to eat with chopsticks?) and then going to sleep. It was then I discovered I had sleeping issues. I think I have a sleeping disorder but I could not sleep at all. It was hell, and it was retarded. but I manage to sleep eventually and I dreamed a dream I can never remember.
End
Now this is a weird story I know but the thing is, I can't remember anything before this day. Actually anything before that, all I could bring anything to my head was utter blackness, like i haven't been born yet. Anything in my childhood I can't remember but this day in particular, because it felt like the very first day of being alive to me, I could remember the majority of the details in great accuracy.
What about you guys?

what
mine was waking up lying on my back and thinking everything around me was strangely eerie. and then trying to count to 20 with extreme difficulty.
i have no idea how old i was -_-

My earliest memory was moving into a new house a week or two before my 3rd birthday. It's very vague but I remember being in the kitchen looking at the calender (I don't know if I understood what the clander was saying, I probably wasn't old enough, but I did know that my birthday was coming up soon) and being very excited that my birthday was going to be the first birthday of the family in the new house.
~2.5 years old. My brother received a massive lego pirate ship for his birthday, and we spent hours putting it together.
I kind of blocked out my early childhood. o.o;
Like really, I have tried for a long time to remember anything and I just cant....
About three. I remember walking on a street, under the shadows of big trees.
My earliest memory is realising that fire place means hot, but the memory is maybe 5 seconds long. I can't recall anything before or after the five seconds...
I remember standing on our couch (with a painting on the wall behind it) facing the wall and argueing with my brother which direction was left and which direction was right. I don't remember who was correct, but he's 2 years older than me so probably him.
Ah, that was many houses ago.
I had crawled out of a dark room and found myself surrounded by people in white clothes and white masks. One of them took the thing hanging out of my belly button and cut it while another smacked my butt and made me cry for the first time...
+ Show Spoiler +JK. I don't remember that far back.
Honestly, though, I think it was when I was about 3 or 4. It was snowing very lightly, so my mom, my brother, and I made these tiny snowmen outside our house. I saw the three snowmen outside the window, but day by day, the snowmen became a little smaller, as the snow had stopped falling and the sun came out everyday.
I got worried, so I asked my mom "Where do the snowmen go after winter" and she said, "They go on vacation and leave, but they always come back next year."
...A year or two later, our family moved from South Korea to South Carolina, US, where it only snows once every millennium...
When I was like 2-3 years old and wanted to help my dad to shovel snow but it was too heavy for me
My first memory was when I was about 3, I was lying in bed trying to recall earlier memories. I kind of started panicking because I couldn't remember any memories, so I went to the kitchen to find my mom, but I couldn't really explain it. In the end I just went back to bed.
I think mine was when I'd be pissed at a lot of things and kicking the vaccuum and stubbing my toes and then looking at my parents who were laughing their asses off. 3 yrs old maybe
When I was 2-3 years old I remember jumping on a glass table and it buckling underneath me - luckily the table was quite low and uh yeah - didn't get injured cause there was a blanket of some sort on it. Kind of scary if your toddler were to do something like that. ^^;
I think I would've been somewhere between 2 and 3. I just remember sitting on a toy truck in the back yard and pushing along with my feet. It wasn't a truck you're supposed to sit in. But I tried to anyway. I remember being confused as to why it hurt so much to try sit in it.

i remember i was on a pretty small compact car while i was eating a donut my neighbor gave us when she came up to me and my mom. this was when i was two.
later i heard stories we lived next to an asian women that was very friendly, so i knew this was a valid memory; my parents said we lived there when i was two.
Hm i have 3 memories, all of them when i was 3 or 4 years old. One where im driving in our appartement with a bobby-car and step on a tack, the other one where i'm in bad with terrible stomache ache at night and the ambulance came. Also one when my father brought a german shepherd home although we had cats, and one of the cats ran around and climbed on the drapes which couldnt stand the weight and got pulled out.
4 i woke up standing on a satellite dish and all i know is i knew who everyone was and enjoyed coke D:
i was around 2 and a half and remember jumping off a play structure and breaking my foot in the winter
I remember when my little brother was born, was probably the biggest change in my baby life back then :D I was 2.5yrs old, but the memories are very blurred.
Would anyone believe me if I said I remember being in the womb? GENIUS BABY! I think I have memories of it but it's probably not true :/
Other than that, probably when I crawled up to my sleeping mom (asians sleep on the floor) and gave her an eskimo kiss. Don't remember the age but I was crawling so pretty young I guess.
My earliest memory is probably getting spanked by my Dad because I knocked over a plate, I think I was 2 or 3 then.
Yea, I was a rebel.
I think I was about 3 and was eating a cupcake in a closet.
2 years 7 months old know exactly when it was because it was a memory of the day we first saw the house that we would be living in for 8 years
I think the earliest I remember was a dream. I think I remember just a forest and it zoomed in and I woke up. I was on the couch in the living room and I just chilled there for a while. It was probably around 7 in the morning. I eventually got up, walked to the kitchen, and asked my parents how old I was. I was either 2 or 3.
walking outside on a summer day, i was 3 years old i think.
weird that something so plain is my first memory, i've actually thought about that a lot over the years
I have no singular "earliest memory", but my first jumble of memories are all of when I was 5. Things like looking around my bedroom, writing a story on paper I scrolled up into a paper towel roll, putting together a lego castle, watching cartoons, playing with action figures, my sister throwing my POGs down the stairs, etc.
This blog is actually really fascinating.
Yeah it's a good topic for a blog. I can't really remember that one moment, no matter how plain.
I don't know how old I was, but I was still in my crib actually. I was just laying there then my mom walks in wearing this purple furry sweater and picks me up, then thats where the memory ends. I talked to my mom about it and she remembers it and even still has the sweater, which I'm pretty sure I never saw besides in that memory and when she showed me again. Edit: Asked and I was like 1 and a half years old.
3 years old.
Lying on my couch having a great sleep.
Something dropped on my face.
I opened up my eyes, yawning.
A HUGE MOTHERFUCKING SPIDER !!! HOLY @!$#$@ I literally pissed my pants.
Even until know I'm still afraid of spiders

the brain isnt developed enough to remember stuff before your born.. it basically just starting to processes emotions

Reading this thread I suddenly remembered about this one time where I was still in an infant bed, both my older brother and mother came to the room and I would call my brother "mani". Apparently I used to call him that after I had heard the song "Money, Money, Money" by ABBA.
I'm pretty surprised I remembered that, because for some reason my memory in general is terrible. If I watch a movie, I have a hard time remembering the plot just a couple of days later. It kind of sucks because I've barely any childhood memories, only a few of images of some key moments.
A friend of mine and I both talked about this once and we both had the same memory - well kinda. I remember being maybe 1 or 2 years old being bathed by my mom in the kitchen sink. The thing is though, the memory is from my Mom's point of view...another strange this is that I can map out the entire floor plan of the house I lived in until I was 4...with deadly precision.
i can remember a lot of my early childhood very vividly but i didnt have a very good concept of time at that point in my life so its hard to say how old i was but it was at least under a year cause i wasnt talking yet and i was speaking well before i was 1 years.
oops forgot to say what the memory was.
i was crawling around on the floor in the dining room area over by our big sliding glass door. and i was looking outside at the trees and looking at the birds and stuff i was super fascinated.
My earliest memory is learning to draw '8' when I was younger than one or two, I think. It's pretty vivid because I struggled a lot
watching voltron in the basement when i was 3
2nd birthday in the snow!
I would have been about two, and I remember stepping over the central vac hose things people used to have (It was very difficult), and I saw my family sitting in the kitchen just talking and i looked down the stairs to the basement and my grandpa was down there and he looked up and waved at me and I walked away really fast, lol, and that's about it for my earliest memory.
A darkness, then sudden intense pressure. A light, a man....a cord.
I was 2 and I stumbled into my parents room to find that they were arguing because we were gonna be late for my cousins birthday party. Only memory I have before I turned 4/started pre-k.
about 4-5 years old, i remmeber pushing my sister off the arm of our couch cause that was my spot. broke her damn arm and i ran and hid in my room T_T
Preschool, whatever age that was!
