My sister came to visit me recently and i stole her music from her ipod so i have more music to listen to and well...i have song names that are CPGN...yeah really fukn informitive >_>

Anyone know of any free program that fixes that shit for you? cause im fed up with manually fixing over 5k songs...FUKN RIDICULOUS

I looked it up on google and I got nothin' that related. Something like....Canadian Peace Grantmaker's Network was all I got.

uh, pretty sure there is not a program that looks at all your songs and magically knows the names of them. Unless i'm very mistaken about what the OP wants.

When you manually take songs off your ipod they all have 4 letter character codes as titles that are seemingly random but the iPod organizes them internally.

You can't change it anymore..
It's the way you suppose to steal the music.
You suppose to click some option like remain album form or something like that when you sync the music you stole into your itunes. All those music will have the original name when you do that.. but.. since I think you just copy and paste.. that's the result. Apple is lame..Go google something like how to transfer ipod music back onto itunes or something like that to see the process.
Edit:
O You can still do the process. Just delete all the music files you had added. then try to transfer from Ipod to Itunes again but this time with the right process.

I'm kind of offended, as Stalin has been spelling "rediculous" for several years now.
I've known him for close to three now. Maybe even longer. And it was somewhat of a traditional pact of our friendship. Because all this time I've never corrected him, and because he didn't know any better. So every time I saw it, I thought of it as our special word. Because he does seem to use it a lot.

If you want a really good music player, organizer, library, tagger, use Mediamonkey. It has a pretty nice tool for either tagging and/or renaming songs files. Not to mention cool sleek skins, a good converter (although it doesn't do tta, gotta use cuetools for those), and ipod support (might need slight tweaking, i think, not sure, but there are tons of guides on the mediamonkey forums, anything you need from beginner to advanced). Use this instead of iTunes plssss

I use MP3tag. It has tons of renaming features to help speed up the process. Most of the time I want my mp3's to be labeled what song they are and nothing else so I do Tag -> Filename and have it name them as '$title$.mp3'. Makes it easy to find stuff when my music is organized like this:

Music\Band\Album\song.mp3

EDIT: On the website there are forums where people post lots of useful regex expressions to handle tons of different naming situations. Like taking rap songs who often show up as 3-4 different people depending on the song and pushing their names to composer so you can have the artist remain one person instead.
