So this is possibly the last time I'll be in D.C. in the foreseeable future. My heart is literally breaking!  The people here are just so awesome.
It's invigorating to see the SC community in D.C. so strong. Last year aside from the LAN I didn't really get to know many of the people, but boy has that changed! The weekly dinners are incredibly fun, and I wish that other places had them too!
Thanks to the people here in D.C., I watched Proleague for this first time in like a year (fell in love with Midas again!), had enough korean barbeque for a lifetime (mmm, $11.50 for all you can eat!), went bowling for the first time since I don't even know when (and meeting Day[9] in the process), I also got raped...
in pool, and just had so much Starcraft funzies  So many awesome people it's hard to list all of them. Rob, Mike, Mike #2, Peter, Bob, Chris (can you sign my poster please!), David, Mona, Vasily (or as Day[9] would have it, sadistiks), Ryan the Wound of Hatchet, Alex, Alex #2, Zapperkhan, Nokarot, orb, lastshadow, isai, all the new people that joined us yesterday, and last but not least, Loudog Semih Bucketz and Nnilf, the stars of the show!!! -_-;; :D I probably missed some people so I apologize in advance if I missed you!!!
Haha, the LAN drama oh gosh, it was definitely an experience being part of that haha.
Yesterday was a really fun dinner, Storr's house is pretty sick and ultra settings blow my miiiiiiiiind! So beautiful  Thanks to everyone who hosted after-dinner parties (Peter, Alex and Bob) it was really awesome, and thanks mike for giving me rides EVERYWHERE :D Thanks everyone else for being such cool cats  It was really cool seeing so many people at dinner yesterday, SC2 really is going to be increasing the people in the community. I only wish that I had this kind of stuff back in cali! The LAN Rob's organizing was basically just posted and already has tons of signups. Btw everyone should check that out if you are in DC/NoVA/MD Area!
Ah, I haven't decided if I'm going to come back next year, but I really want to just because of all the sick SC people over here  Ah, why don't you noobs all move to California? BM!

Think about it Conan, if you go to GWU or Gtown you'll be able to go to the monuments drunk with me all the time, it'll be baller good times.
Anyways, I'm leaving for California also on Wednesday but I'll be staying out of the starcraft community while I'm home since it'll be like the only time I've been home in about 11 months. Listen to Chris, go to DC ;o (I used to go to boarding school in new jersey, about 5 minutes away from Princeton, DC is better than central jersey lol). PLUS GWU will have a CSL team fosho, and theres a metro stop on campus, and the parties here are better, and we're like 4 blocks from the white house and lincoln memorial and we'll be able to go to all the LAN's and nerd dinner ^_^
wow so much pressure for a guy whos still in high school, lol, in the end make your own decisions don't let us tell you what to do, but if you ever need advice on where to decide between the Bay Area, New Jersey, or DC, I'm a boss at that.
in terms of the starcraft community i don't know how anyone can beat the DC area since we meet up every week and are super chill.
Was definitely glad to meet you and pretty crazy to meet someone younger than me at dinners, and someone who's from NorCal and knows whats up. I'll definitely ring you up if I'm in the east bay when you're there. You can let me know if you're in south bay while I'm there too.
Hope to see you around again dude, wherever it may be. DC is such a great area to be in to be a starcraft fan, probably 2nd only to the LA area from the sheer amount of people there, but we're definitely the most lively.

Georgetown is the best university in DC lol...but yeah Cali still better than East Coast Hopefully I can visit NorCal in the near future ^^

sometimes I wish I went to GWU instead of the Art Institute of Washington. Would probably save a lot of money. Not sure if they have a graphic arts bachelors though.

But they give the most financial aid so realtime costs aren't as high as most schools, but still lol
