I was really busy last semester at school, so I chose not to participate in the beta period. So, when I picked up my pre-ordered copy on Tuesday, I was feeling a little behind everyone else in the game. It's been a lot of learning and practice for me lately, as there are a lot of new characters and build orders I need to get used to! I'm interning for Cisco all summer, so that kind of chews up a large portion of my free time during the day, but I've been playing as much as possible at night. I'm starting campaign mode today!! I'm really excited

Hey, I feel as though im in the same boat as you. I got it 2 days after the release(wasnt planning on buying it..I caved) I'm looking for people to play with and try to learn what all the units and structures do. Too bad theres no chat channels so its hard to meet people on the new b net. Do you have vent maybe we can figure out how to play together.

I'm in the same situation at the moment. I had beta but was way too busy with uni and only managed to play about 3 or 4 games, and was never really great at BW to begin with. Unfortunately classes start again on Tuesday so I'm not going to be able to practice a lot anyway. Time to perfect time management!

There was one girl at my school that said she played sc... then we had a lan and she built evolution before spawning pool....

Evolution before spawning pool sounds great, but I prefer 9 pool to 3 hatch muta FTW

I know a girl that plays SC2. She's Protoss fFigures.

), and she's actually not that bad. She actually beats a couple of my friends, which is sort of embarrassing, but meh.

I think she's a Bisu fanboy and she was ranked Diamond before beta ended. Her Starcraft 2 hasn't arrived for her yet though, so I don't know how she is now.

So yes, girls are indeed a dying breed, but at least there's one girl to laugh at my Starcraft jokes at school. >_>
