Probably no one posting here will be from the area, but WTF Montgomery County / DC area power outage! WHAT THE HEEEECKKKKKKK I have to stay at a mom's friend's house and my power's been out for three days already. How is Pepco so slow at this, lol "it'll be back on Friday or so" WHAAAAAAAAAAAT FIVE DAYS WITHOUT POWER!?!?!
All my stuff in the refridgerator/freezer is probably gone bad. Anyone else pissed off about this? I'm glad it's not fsking hot as it was a few weeks/days ago, but omg this is retaaaarded -_-;;
So for those who don't know, there was a thunderstorm that literally lasted an hour and randomly happened on the hottest sunniest day and then the power went out. And never came back on. I mean ya it did reach like 90 mph gusts apparently (higher than hurricanes) but F that!!!  There are like trees uprooted and fallen down everywhere and three people died from trees. The entire thing was over in like one hour though, then it was all sunny again -_-;; so apparently 300,000 people were without power, now it's 109,000. I'm unfortunately part of that 109,000 T_T
I want my power back!!!  and oh snap 3333 posts I should have done something... FAAAAAK MAIII LAIIIIIIIIIIIFEEEEE!!!!!
In other news, I'm dling the digital copy of SC2 right now, and just paid for it! :O

But that sucks. I remember the blackout we had in NYC (and across the east coast) some years back, and how all the vendors were just handing out their produce because it was going bad anyway. Cleaning out that fridge is operation #1, terrible things can happen if you don't.

We got lucky in Northern VA we caught just a clip of that storm on Sunday, hardly any power outages around hree. Apparently it raped a shittttload of Maryland users. I heard hundreds of thousands without power. That must be so annoying.

no wonder my cousin hasnt been on gmail...lol he lives in the montgomery area...and lost his phone a while back (no landline just a cellphone) so we only talk via gmail

Wait are you serious? I'm planning to go to work on Thursday and Friday there... and there won't be power? That's... unfortunate.

Yeah oh snap I better get some of my stuff out of the fridge -_-;; Well I think cabbage/corn/broccoli might be able to make it, I added some ice from my work in the fridge which KINDA cools it off but not really lol, although I definitely have to through out my yogurt/orange juice and possibly my spinach and chicken (in the freezer and it's been over two days, so that stuff is probably all bad now -_-; . Definitely want the power back soon heh

dude. i was on the train for 6.5 hours instead of 2 hours (electric powered lol)...got back to dc at 11 no food and then my bus wasnt running and the metro was spotty.
on the plus side i got to crash in dc and met some cute girls. go figure, life is awesome =)

Nahhhh, Northeast and Southeast bring's DC down quite a bit. Don't ever try to go to the Capitol St. / Benning Road area by yourself
