According to polls Zerg is the weakest race in SC2 and peoples are complaining and whining.
Well I could't care less. Zerg could have a 20% win rate and I still would play them!
Terrans are like your pals you drink beer with. You like them somehow because they are such ballers!
Protoss feel shiny and superior like an exotic sports car. If you're into this stuff you can probably love them as well, but I have no relation to that.
Zerg is the only SC2 race I truly love
Because they are so cutesie!

Hydras
If you would see a full grown Hydra in front of you, you propably want to run away, but you can't because you're in a state of shock!
But in SC2 you see them from far above and to me, they are my porcupine snails with their little snailtails and their cute little bristels

Well, a unit can't be much cuter than Zerglings! Horned puppy-dogs with endless vitality and energy and if they're lucky they even get little fairy wings. Aren't they adorable?

There are two types of men: Those who shiver with disgust when they see a really fat, big caterpillar slowly crawling down the road.
And those who could watch this chubby little fellow all day because it is so cute and interesting. Some even take them along but I think that's wrong because you shouldn't disturb them.
Still, everytime I see my infestors, I feel fulfilled and happy.

Well you can't say those big brainheads are very cute but I still have so much sympathy with them.
You almost feel sorry if you interact with these guys: They have to connect all those units with the overmind which must be mind-boggling. And then you even ask them to fly all over the map as if it isn't enough to do all the administrative work. Everytime I hear the Overlord response sound, I hear a moan. They remind me of poor employees which get kicked around at their workplace, which is why I can identify with them.

„Drones are male honey bees“ states wikipedia. To me they're more like ever dilligent working bees, busy bustling around the hive all day because work is never done. But this is the only way they feel happy, because it's so boring and unaccomplishing when you're a drone and you're listed on the unemployment icon!
Larva
Well sheltered by their queen, little zerg babies have a wonderful childhood until they grow up and follow their destiny. Everytime I come back to my zerg base, I see a happy kindergarten!

Just because i used past tense doesnt imply the present tense isnt true. If i came up to you and said "Yo that movie was the shit", would that imply that it isn't good anymore?
regardless if my logic is wrong there- Its just a habit or mine when i have something in a certain tense i keep it that way- Obviously im not 4 at the moment.

in Broodwar my favorite race was protoss, because of ....... REAVER! them being gone in sc2 I stopped playing protoss after some games. it wasnt fun at all : ( though i tried Zerg and really liked it. the creep, sounds, the lategame macro-abilities. if i miss one thing - it is the lurker. But still for me zerg is the coolest Race in SCII. for the swarm! <3
