I was fortunate enough to be given a ticket to the WC2010 semi final last night - Urugay vs Netherlands. My mom "gave" it to me as a birthday gift. Not quite: she thought she was getting 2 VIP tickets and was going to give it to my brother and I.
Turns out that there was only one ticket!! I suggested to my bro that we play a 1v1 to decide. That would have made for a more interesting and relavant blog post...but unfortunately his internet connection was offline and we were forced to flip a coin!! It was in my favor and my mom reckons its my birthday present (which is tomorrow)

This was a seriously awesome experience. Not often do you get to sit and dine amongst sporting greats and the president of the country!

VIP's dont blow vuvzelas :D I couldnt get one since I drove through and was stuck in traffic for 2hrs and then hopped on the bus that took me directly to the hosipitality suite! There were plenty vuvu's tho!
