I've reached Firebat status today keke  (500 post)
This is my 501st Legion.
Actually I prefer Marine icon than Firebat. I think Marine is more epic and cuter at the same time.

I found this when I entered my name @ search function keke.
I wrote that in livestream chat during Hiya vs Reach.
Actually this is not the 1st time sum1 point out, my english is bad. 
But I will not go emo for this keke, I don't really mind.
Okay..actually I mind a little bit. Before I came to teamliquid, I have great pride in my english.
Because I thought my english is really good. You may say, wow, I am so ignorant. But before teamliquid it is China standard, now it is foreign standard.
If you have a chance to go China, you will understand what I mean. I think my english is pretty good in China community? So I learn the hard truth, a very hard truth, in teamliquid.
When I first came to teamliquid, I used to type better english. Because this is a foreign community, and I am new and stranger, so I try my best to type english similar to every1. But after awhile I revert back to my normal english because I felt normal and can type faster.
Especially in livestream chat, so many people typing, if you type slow, messaged cleared.

Today I watch KT vs SKT, the Chinese stream is down because they were displaying some of their own tourny. Then there are PLU regular coming to Grobyc stream to watch starcraft.
It is not everytime they come, so I feel happy? I want to talk to them, but if I type english, they won't know I am talking to them. So I type in mandarin. Then I got banned before somebody point out I am regular in Teamliquid.
Then I type back in english. Then one PLU regular scold me *** XiaoJoyce- . Ah, I am so sad, I am from China too. I feel like I do not belong to any of the community. Or, I have to choose 1 out of the 2.
When the PLU regular scold me, I got a feeling I am not 1 of them, I feel like I am betraying my own country and that why he is angry at me.
Later I just ask straight, why do u hate me? Then he just ask are you from China? Then I say Yes. He reply wrong target. Ahahaha
Ah, bad experience for today.

Ah, I want to carify the above quote. Don't call me pervert because I say erect. It is not my idea, somebody said it first. And because every1 was hyping for Reach, and spamming fast in livestream. So I need to type fast too, and I saw people type erect, I just type what came up @ my mind at that moment and type it out fast.
During that moment my mind is having this thought

I finished reading all his blog at today 17:00. Not to mention the 600+ comments @ disneyland blog. When I finished reading I saw NUKED. He got nuked @ 17:00 too
His story is very fairytale keke. But I read his blog after I follow the comments for awhile so I will not give myself so much credit for not believing his stories.
He is not the first Ego boost people I've met in my entire life and his NUKED made me learnt 1 important lesson.
Be humble? And Honest. Kekekeke.

lol i feel for you.i get bullied because of my bad English as well.but tbh your English is not actually that bad imo since you are from China.most people don't speak English in China but you seem to do well with it.you should really be proud of yourself.
on a side note,i hope you send her a sincere apology boes since she's dosen't speak English like you by birth.that was very mean of you.

I was laughing at your story too. But it wasn't making fun of you. I'm friends with a lot of foreigners with bad English, and sometimes they say something that sounds really funny I can't help but laugh

Don't get down about it. English isn't your first language, as such your doing very well and your posts are understandable for what your trying to say. Sometimes however, non native english speakers (hell even native english speakers), will say something that you can't help laughing at. Its not meant to be mean. If we were speaking mandarin, or Cantonese, and made a similar mistake I think you might have a bit of fun at our expense as well.

I would like to learn chinese, the future is probably in China, economically at least.

If you are english speaking and can learn chinese there are a TON of job opportunities. I mean you would still need to be part of some field, but even without there are always companies looking for English/Chinese speaking people.

I find in a lot of foreign communities people tend to apologize for bad English (or, for that matter, think their English is bad) when they type or speak English on a level not too far off from the native speakers in the community. Your English is fine considering you've had to learn it as a second language, and will surely improve. I haven't been around too long, but I've never had any issue understanding any of what you type, so don't worry about it too much

Psht. I can't even speak Cantonese or Mandarin, so your English is 100x better than my Chinese! People will laugh if you say something odd because it's funny, but don't let it get you down. I think you're doing just fine.

Well yeah - your errors are noticeable. But they are easier on the eyes, compared "native" posts that are full of run-on-sentences. In a positive way, you let us read something uncommon (entertainment).

Congrats on your firebat!!! And don't worry about the bad english part, this is a community that has a common interest (Starcraft) regardless of where one is from. So you're definitely always welcome here and your english is actually good compared to what I've seen personally in real life and over the internet. In fact, I can easily name a friend of mine who's worse than you and he lived in US all his life.....
Anyway, have confidence and don't worry, this is suppose to be a fun cool hip chill place to be at! Enjoy!~

Your English is good! But nice that you are aiming to be even better!
Normally I think people make too big a deal about having good English, but being able to communicate over the internet is definitely one of the best advantages (outside of jobs).
Just dont stress too much about it or feel bad about yourself. I've seen a lot of immigrants here develop close to an inferiority complex due to this.
