As of 1 hour and 20 minutes prior to my writing of this, I just handed in my last assignment for the year. Fittingly enough, it was possibly my hardest assignment, an organic chem take-home test. Aside from that, I am finally done with all of my school work, which means I am pretty much done with school! For those who said that Junior year feels like it never ends, I must sympathize with them. During this year i had to put up with: - a psychotic biology teacher - a guidance counselor who thought I was suffering from depression (which i wasn't =_=) - 4 hospitalizations and 2 surgeries all in just 3 months and all other things that a typical high school junior had to put up with.
Well I'm done with all of that and I must say, I feel quite relieved that I can finally kick back, relax, and do the things I wanted to all year long (and some things that i don't want to do. i.e. college visits, college apps, SAT studying, summer HW). I can finally focus on getting better in starcraft and finally getting out of my D/D- rut.
Even though school isn't officially over, all work is. All that remains is Field Day (which is a pretty big deal in my school) tomorrow, and two days to say the farewells to my teachers and friends.

When I finished school it felt so good. Never school again, hell yea. Well, after some time I started missing it tho and remembered how awesome this time actually was (seeing friends every day and all day long etc.) You probably won't notice that in the first 2 or 3 month, but later for sure.
Anyhow, finishing school also means starting at college (at least for you it seems) which is at least as good. Therefore I can't really understand how you are not looking forward to college visits.
Enjoy your freetime and (don't) play too much bw.

O-chem in high school? That's a pretty impressive, assuming you're not talking about naming alkanes and ketones.

seriously, in every close game i watch of myself, it seems my opponent almost always stockpiles 2k+ mins, and i'm at <700 mins. i really need to work on my army management and micro...

That stuff that i did in my normal chem class (the naming). My school offers Organic Chem as 2 electives (Organic Chem I and Organic Chem II) last thing i learned this year were the mechanisms for stuff like aldol condensation, formation of imines, and all that fun stuff.

Maybe we should play a bit over the summer, cause my PvP is D/D- level =\ Its mostly because i don't really understand the matchup at all

Field day in high school? I don't think schools have that around here but haha cool.
Getting JR year over is huge yes! But, a lot of people don't take senior year seriously which is a big mistakes... be on guard! I worked the hardest my senior year of high school and I don't regret it at all.

Wish I put more effort in high school... And I thought field day was only for elementary school students, kinda awkward to do it now.
Or Im just referring to a different activity than you are in for.

Or Im just referring to a different activity than you are in for. My understanding is that field day is an end-of-the-year school event where there are athletic competitions and activities to basically have fun for the day.

Field Day in my school is an event where the entire student body are divided into 4 teams. These 4 teams participate in various events to win points for their team. The team with the most points at the end of all of the events wins Field Day and has quite the bragging rights.

I love how accomplished you feel right now.. cherish it cause once you are in a rut in college you will soon find out school was easier in some of the stuff.... heh but college is awesome when everything is going ok.. good luck further on..

Then again, all spirit- related days seem to be for the immature to me. Or maybe its just Middle School Spirit stuff that sucks. I personally just took my last final a few hours ago and I'm having THREE parties on the last day of school which is a half day(Starts at 8:00 ends at 12:00) and is this Wednesday! I also have a gut feeling that I aced my final. Also, the social studies teacher who is the meanest of all my teachers(He is actually mean, others are just strict) actually cancelled his Final Exam he had prepared for us! My life is getting a lot better in the real world, and is getting a little worse in the Teamliquid world(banned from BW strat forum when it said it was a warning..... some warning lol). Anyways, SUMMER ROCKS(unless you were planning on a beach party by the Gulf lol)

Yea, that's actually pretty awesome that you are learning that stuff now. I didn't learn a lot of that stuff until 2nd year university, and even 3rd year.

Sometimes colleges (especially with huge wait lists) check senior college transcripts for warning signs and reject/defer students who bomb their last semester.

BTW, you yourself wouldn't necessarily know if you were suffering from mild depression... maybe.
