Well, there's a reason why I tried to switch races. Protoss's mirror. See, I'm ok with hour long TNT's, and ten minute ZvZ's, but the incredible volatile and heart-wrenching matchup that is PvP occasionally just manages to send me into complete and utter agony. The gracious protoss were obviously not meant to do battle with their brethren.

Assuming you were red... you were ahead for most of the game. You lost because you didn't macro o.O. At one point, you had the quicker 4th but were on 9 gateways with 7k in the bank. He was on 11 gateways with <1k in the bank, though he was expanding much much slower than you. And when you were trading mains, you had 3-4k in the bank which could have helped you defend against that force.

The openings weren't the same at all o.o. They were only similar in that both of you went for robotics/reaver tech. You expanded to your natural much sooner, and he added on to the 3gates on one base.

actually, i wasnt mining. at all. 397 minerals, one probe, no nexus.

Ah didn't notice that he killed the nexus at your natural too.

In that case, he coulda won easily. He was actually still mining and had a handful of zealots. xD. Oh well though.
