My interest for SC has dropped tremendously since the huge scandal, but I came back a week ago for info about OSL/MSL finals... anyways let's get back onto the topic

1. Plan your day ahead of time: Will your project have enough time to be completed before the due date? How much time am I willing to put into this project? From here you can gauge how much time is invested in school, and what else you will have the time for. 2. Prioritize: Within #1 you've probably thought of priorities, your school work COMES BEFORE EVERYTHING ELSE. Trivial things like GF, gaming, and parents can understand. Tell them to shove their shit up their ass, and buckle down and get your shit into gear. Why are you in Uni if you don't take it as seriously as you should? 3. Agenda/Calendar: One of the most useful tools you can have, it pretty much sets out a plan of the week/day/priorities that you need to look at. These things can save your school life from ending up in complete disaster. Looking at this daily, writing shit down as you go can have a tremendous outcome to helping you get organized. 4. Weekends: Do you want to have fun? Do you want free-time on the weekend? Do all your shit beforehand then you can do whatever you want on the weekend. All work and no play is not healthy, while I do take school seriously, you need a break, and even I can understand. Make sure you set yourself for some alone time, 3-5 hours, 1 whole day, as long as you're still set in your priorities its good to have this time to yourself. This is what I usually do to keep myself from straying out of the wrong path. Just gauge the time of your work to the best of your abilities and in due time, you'll figure out a prime schedule to have balance work/school/life. Good luck!

School -> Gym -> Work -> Misc -> Sleep Weekends you don't really have to plan as much as long as you follow your weekday schedule accordingly. Going in to my 3rd year now and that plan above has worked out alright for me

JUST DO IT!!!!! if you get a homework assignment, dont come home and play starcraft and "ill do it later" because thats how you get shit grades. speaking from experience here. i didnt learn to "just do it" until the past 8 months or so. it feels sooooooo good to come home from school at like 3:00 PM, do your homework, then have from like 5PM-2AM to do whatever you want [minus work hours, cause i work night shift ] its shitty... but its waaay better than waiting til the last minute

Clubbing is fun but set aside some time for it, don't plan to pset on thurs/sat nights. And idk, I love games but I try to set building real life relationships over games like starcraft that can be both emotionally draining and without social benefit (talking about endless iccup binges here not the <3 that is TL). That one's definitely up for debate, but first year college it's pretty important to try to get into things and not spend too much time in your room alone.
