 finally got some motivation back into monkeying around and having fun w/ it. was bored and basically just wanted to try out some new effects/ brainstorm new ideas. first one was rough copy 2nd one is obviously more indepth. they're .png files so may be a little to big but better quality. so let me know if you love/hate it. 1st: 01 2nd: 02   | ||

I'll just say: do a ton of tutorials and look at the possibilities of photoshop through the work of others for inspiration. Keep on trying and trying! For example, depthcore is a great place to look around and have graphical orgasms. http://depthcore.com/chapter/Empire/ | ||

Even thou you dont seem to have a lot of experience with photoshop, what I like about the images you made is that you've tried to keep some balance. Usually whenever someone new tries to do something in Photoshop, the results are boosted contrast and just some random filters and cheesy effects thrown in, because they make the image "cool". Keep your motivation I hope to see more from you | ||

Keep going at it, maybe with practice you'll come up with something decent. However, I doubt it, you'll most likely lose your time, this is truly horrific. | ||
