So I just noticed this cool little feature and I thought I would take advantage of it. Being new to the competitive Starcraft scene in general and even newer to TL (I don't think I even have a post yet) I don't really know what I'm doing. However I think I can pretty effectively represent a pretty decent sized demographic of very casual SC:BW fans who now want to get into the more competitive end of Starcraft II.
People like me don't have high APMs, we know few hotkeys and have pretty terrible macro in general. We're the silvers and golds of the beta, people with enough SC and RTS know how to understand the mechanics of the game, but not really be able to fully utilize them. In this regard is the original and continued brilliance of Blizzard, because I can scarcely think of a game that is so easy to learn yet so difficult to master.
I suppose the recent venture of us former casual gamers into the dark and scary world of ladder matches is largely due to the beta and the original availability of of ONLY ladder matches. But another factor in this would be that, like me, people who played the original Starcraft are older now. For many of us, Starcraft was our first foray into RTS play, even the first foray into video games at all. Now that we're older and more experienced, many of us are curious about the strange world of Macro and Micro, of complicated strategies and exacting build orders.
Through this blog, I'm simply going to demonstrate my own attempt to learn to be a better player and have some fun doing it. Maybe I'll get a stream....hmmmmm

Teamliqid is the perfect place to get better.
GLHF in your conquest of the starcraft world  , and yes a stream is a good way to get constructive criticism, but be wary of trolls.

Its awesome that you wanna get better, and yeah a stream will help with that for sure. Also if you wanna improve your macro and micro, search for the multitasking maps floating around the SC2 forum
