Really? I'll try to find the replay. I don't think I've ever been BM intentionally. like pretty much the only thing i do is say gl hf in the beginnign and gg at the end.
haha i was surprised that i went from being platinum to being upgraded to diamond and being #1. i'm not good at sc2 so i was really surprised.
EDIt: just installed the replay renamer and i can't find a rep. afk does sound familiar. i'm pretty sure we were friends pre patch 13 or something...

I really don't know why everyone is do angry about the League/Division system, but I'd say that the in-game ladders in any of Blizzard's games have never been very indicative of skill (when was the last time you went on Brood War's built-in ladder to look up pro players?). I think the league system is fine as is, pros will be moved up into the pro league which has already been discussed numerous times. Blizzard has stated that league will have all players in one group and be searchable by those not in the league. If Blizzard wants to make the other leagues less competitive so casual players don't feel left behind, what in the world is wrong with that? Blizzard is trying to make this game appeal to as many people as they can and it is no easy feat, if they simply catered only to the group of us that takes the game at least moderately seriously in terms of wanting to get better / analyzing replays etc. then forums would be littered with posts from casual players saying stuff like 'I'm rank 2500 in Bronze and feel like there is no way I'll ever rank up'.
You all really need to stop immediately freaking out at Blizzard when the game isn't made YOUR way, its not YOUR game, if you are so good and skilled at balanced and game design then go make your own sequel to Brood War.

I got dumped in gold this reset due to DCing from over 50% of my games, fought my way into plat, now gonna try to make it into diamond (was plat pre-reset/league change)
For everyone asking for diamond to be one big division, that's going to be the pro-league.

Most people on diamond haven't played many games (20-30 max) and it's quite easy to get to #1 in one day since you will get mostly favored opponents. Yesterday playing 2on2 with a friend we got to #1 with 20 or so games ~280 points. We were getting +20-40 points in most wins and we would only lose like 4-8 T.T
So... mass game war gooooo!

It was a lot different a long time ago. They used to have season ending ladder tournaments and stuff.

Soon everyone will be #1 diamond. First blizzard takes away division numbers so no one knows how many people are in each division, pretty soon they will make it so by halfway through the season it shows everyone that they are #1 in their division, because then we will all be happy and no one will no the difference because no one knows anyone elses rank. Also this is the purpose of facebook integration, because then it is harder to make friends and see what ranks they are. Obviously they will be sued over privacy issues, and then they can remove facebook integration and the adding of friends alltogether, at which point everyone can be #1 because no one knows who the nameless 99 below you are.
