nissan 240sx(for drifters), cheap, hard to find "low" mileage, but one of the best cars ever made subaru imprezza, if you can find one for the right rice this is a steal infiniti g35, very nice luxury sportscar, powerful, easy to find, no maintenance problems until very high mileage(over 150k miles at least if properly maintained (oil)) -this one is amazing ^___^

if you go BMW, i strongly suggest getting a 6-cylinder version and WRX = cop magnet, at least in aus I can only talk from an australian perspective but... Euro cars = expensive parts, longer wait Japanese cars = Cheaper parts, shorter wait if you want a slightly sporty, economical car, i suggest looking for a 4-cylinder turbo car =)

Yeah I'd have to agree with micronesia here... although there are problems with domestic cars, you'll probably find that the prices that you can get them for is much cheaper than the foreign cars. It should be fairly reliable if you do your homework too...

That's way out of his price range!

That's way out of his price range! i did, and based on aus prices, if people are saying 04 WRX, then a 2006 mazdaspeed 3 shouldnt be too far out of range... EDIT: in aus a decent 2004-2005 WRX will set you back $20-25k and you can pick up an 06 mazda 3 MPS for about 23-24k

He said he has 6k... unless the ms3 is missing it's rear axle or something I don't see how he could get a ms3... edit: going by the price of the cars people were suggesting rather than the budget in the op isn't the best idea XD
