Ten minutes of this site and I am happy to be alive and well. http://www.givesmehope.com http://www.givesmehope.com/
"My little sister came home from school one day and demanded I take her to the library so she could get books on sign language.
I asked why? She told me there was a new kid at school who was deaf and she wanted to befriend him.
Today, I stood beside her at their wedding watching her sign... “I DO”. "

Wow this site is great. One problem, I can't seem to get past the first page! I want to keep reading more but I can't... Anyone else having this problem?
|
Ya same problem, it gives the same stuff no matter what page number I'm on. Good site though, or at least the first page is.
|
I can't get to the next page either.

I have daily experiences which do the exact opposite of giving me hope when looking at the actions/behavior of kids :-/
So this is a nice refreshing change!

I agree! It really does make me feel a bit relieved in the flood of terrible news.

Most of these are pretty heart-warming, they could also very well be fake, but I'd like to believe they're real.
|
They're just to similar in style and length to not be fake.
I couldn't, however, stop reading 'till I was done with all of them
|
This is pretty cool. Gives me something happy and uplifting to read.
|
I rolled my eyes. I don't need fake hope just as much as I don't care about FML posts. pre-teens are just too emotional.

This is basically chicken soup for the soul. In fact, the one about the brother giving bone to his sister is from chicken soup for the soul.
