EPTOK i watched the replay and SwarmsSC's APM never went to 0 until marauders where in his base and seriously you wiped your face what is that like 2 secs of not macroing, just because a few of you have unwritten rules ( LOL flashback of serious WoW duels of " OMG you cant use that cooldown in a duel" ) doesnt mean that everyone knows them, if someone says gg it means good game not i surrender ( the button even says i surrender not GG ).

This. I just watched it as well. He typed GG assuming he was done for; not realizing that Swarm has 0 economy whatsoever to actually finish him off w/ his vikings to wipe out the broodlords. It wasn't as though Swarm stopped attacking, macro'ing, and was just chit chatting for a couple of minutes while YouFail completely rebuilt. Had YouFail not typed GG, the game would have played out the same way; only 1000 words less would have been typed. | ||

GENERAL CONSENSUS of "gg", at least to bw vets, mean that the game is over. however, i'm pretty sure a lot of people, especially on bnet, and i'm guessing bnet2, will gg hoping that their opponent will let their guard down. i've seen people gg only when i'm in a winning position, and the only times i gg are when i'm about to lose or the idiot just won't leave. i highly doubt people say gg when they're winning by a slim margin, but they believe the game is a good one. if you're not in a position where you cannot come back, then you shouldn't be wasting your time typing gg anyways. | ||
