I waited 2 weeks for this...

Fuck this manga, can't believe I wasted all this time reading 900 chapters to see this continuous decline in quality T__T. Since the Mashiba/Sawaruma Fight the manga is going down a steep slope.

Its just sad. I guess thats what happens when you increase shoenen length, it only becomes more absurd and the quality degenerates rapidly with the absurdness of the shoenen. That's why Ippo will never be better than the Slam Dunk Manga, oh well, not like Ippo will finish before the author dies at this rate.

The 4th Season of the anime finished at around volume 44 I think. I have no idea about chapters, but there are around 80-90 volumes right now. I presume the 4th season ended at Hawk vs Takamura, but I didn't watch it though.

You mean season2 right? How do you separate the seasons? I though season1: Hajime no ippo, was 76 episodes, and season2: Hajime no ippo: new challenger, was 26 episodes.

This fight has been going on for waaaay too long :/ I wish the author would just revert back to realistic training and developing new techniques (stuff that actually exists in the boxing world). Or have a new character introduce a new fighting style that Ippo could learn from for boxing.

Or just have Ippo LOSE when hes LOSING really BADLY, its like DBZ all over again only with more 'secret planning'. He doesn't just pull out a SSJ he also says that while you were beating me down I was secretly making you weaker as well. Its on a whole new level of I-cant-think-of-an-adjective-that-describes-how-cliche-it-is-when-protagnoists-win-no-matter-what-even-if-it-is-a-shounen-mangatry.
