Ideally, I'd just throw down the five dollars for a pre-order and call it good, but I'm living on a fixed income and I have to save up what I can to take my cat to the vet for his bad hips, so I'm taking shot at various contests and having generally poor luck at them. I'm crossing my fingers that you'll choose me, but, even if you don't, your generosity to strangers like this is vastly appreciated. ^^ | ||

Let's go from specific to general shall we? I want one in order to rule the ladder and make a name for myself in the SC2 community. I want one in order to play Terran and understand the true meaning of a mech build. I want one in order to get ready for the release of SC2 I want one in order to play online with other people I want one in order to play SC2 beta without downloading the lazytown loader. I want one in order to play the latest game that's sure to be a hit. I want one in order to jump the bandwagon. I want one because the beta requires a key. These are just examples which may or may not actually reflect my actual perspective of the beta. Now if you asked "Why you deserve a SC2 beta key", then there'd be some more interesting answers involved. I want a beta key because my life is empty. Every day and every night I go home and play Brood War on Iccup. I've registered on Teamliquid last summer of 09 and been addicted to Starcraft. Now SC2 beta is here... everyone is talking about strategies, what race is imba, what unit is imba, but here I am sitting in my room by myself playing Iccup against the vast amounts of Korean gosus that rape me daily. I cry myself to sleep every night I check battle.net and my email and see that I still don't have a beta key. Every time I fail to get a beta key... I want to cry internally. It's not fun seeing everyone else talk about SC2 strats, replays, etc when I'm stuck playing Brood War for years by myself. PS: Protoss players die in a car fire. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I hope I don't get DQed or banned for that statement | ||

I'm actually not bad, I think I can make platinum or at the very least gold (though I'd have no idea until I actually try the game out). I have a very good understanding of the game but my APM's pretty balls so I can discuss strategy with you if you'd like. ALL I NEED IS A KEY.  . His pro commentaries makes watching the game 10x more enjoyable and you get to learn a lot as well. For someone like me practicing sc1 in ICCUP to get ready for SC2 this is the place to go. This game has alot of potential even if there are somethings that IMO could use some improvement, overall it is great plus there are 2 more expansions on the way so there is still a chance to live up to SCBW. I've also been watching a lot of custom maps since the galaxy editor was made available so I'm also very excited for the UMS potential of SC2. I watch this and it just makes me drool. I'm hoping to give mapmaking a shot and hopefully it could also come with this key if I'm lucky.  | ||

ive been wanting to play this for so long. although im not the greatest starcraft player there is but my school has a small starcraft community and i feel like im the leader of this however no one rly has a key we've been trying to get one for so long a beta key will help keep our community strong | ||

The key would be in good use. Was it because of the protoss comment I made? LOL? Now I can finally participate with the rest of Teamliquid in regards to SC2 instead of sitting on the sidelines playing got damn Broodwar on Iccup all day instead. | ||
