The average progamer seems to win most of their leagues around 2-3 years after debuting. July debuted in 2002 and won leagues in 2004 and 2005. Savior debuted in 2003 and won leagues in 2005 and 2006. Bisu debuted in 2005 and won leagues in 2007 and 2008. Jaedong debuted in 2006 and won leagues in 2008 and 2009 (and 2010). Sure there are early bloomers like oov and late bloomers like Stork, but looking at TLPD confirms that 2-3 years is a good estimate.

Therefore, the players who will be at the top this year made their debuts in 2007 and 2008. A look at TLPD shows the top 4 players from those debut years to be:

(T)Flash
(Z)ZerO
(T)BaBy
(P)Movie

Three of those players are dual leaguers and all are in the Ro8 of the OSL. The rest of the list is decidedly more mediocre:

(T)Really, (Z)great, (P)Stats, (Z)EffOrt, (Z)RorO, (T)Bogus, (P)Tempest, (T)sKyHigh, (P)Violet, (Z)Action

However, 2010 is not over, and if past years are anything to go by, players who debuted in 2007 and 2008 should win at least 4 of the MSLs/OSLs this year.

+ Show Spoiler +

that's because flash is going to win all of them

kidding, but that's a possibility

Doesn't mean he'll stop being good now. Most players take 2-3 years, but players like Flash and iloveoov (the only other notable player to dominate a year after debuting) remain good despite blooming early.

Haha (T)Flash owned shit up right as he hit the scene, then faded into the abyss after losing to [(Z)GGPlay?], and is now back and in ez mode.

I feel terrible for for the other three, in that case. Especially ZerO.
