So, my girlfriend (or something like that, I don't know what the fuck she was) and myself and her parents and her uncles went out together for an entire afternoon today. That afternoon stretched way into the evening. It started off fine, but by the end of it, it seemed like her parents seemed to really like me and that she seemed to really hate my fucking guts. I don't blame her. I do not blame her at all. I wouldn't like me, either. But for this entire past few weeks, I was so concerned with impressing her parents and making a good impression that I almost lost my mind. And as it turned out, her parents and uncle really warmed up to me and were very welcoming and loving towards me. When it came time to say goodbye, she almost completely ignored me while her relatives swarmed me to say how much they enjoyed the time together.
So, the one aspect I was actually worried about turned better than I could have possibly imagined beyond my wildest goddamn dreams and yet I still want to drink myself into oblivion because the girl I like and was out all day with showed absolutely no interest by the end of the our outing together with her and her family.
I called a close friend and he said he'd come get me to go drink. That was two hours ago and I know for a fact that he isn't going to come through now. So, as I sit here in my boxers and a dirty t-shirt, I just want all of you TL.netters to know: Even though a vast majority of you are humorless pricks and consider yourselves know-it-alls on absolutely every subject ever to cross the mind of any human being anywhere at any time during the entire existence of this planet ... I love you. If you ever feel alone, just know that someone out there cares about you. And to show my sincerity, I'm actually very open to receiving PMs about nothing related to Starcraft.

I think it's much more likely that she will be in a better mood next time towards you than it would be for her parents to suddenly warm up to you after they hated your guts from today's affairs... so things could still work out.

I'm not used to girls caring about what I do or what I say because I hate myself deeply and have no confidence, so maybe I did neglect her a little bit. But in my mind, I can't ever conceive a situation where someone would want my attention because I'm just not used to that at all.
But in my honest opinion, she was the center of my attention the entire time. I will readily admit that there may be some clout to your statement, but all I can do is offer my opinion and that is that I treated her with the same amount of attention and affection as always.

I hate giving this kind of advice, and I realize you've probably thought of the possibility (I know I super overanalyze these things), but keep in mind that this could've been triggered by private conversations between her family and her; the family could be pressuring her to do something regarding you, whatever that may be, and that pressure may be straining how she thinks of you.
EDIT: Similarly, another possible situation is that she's projecting possible preexisting tension between her and her family onto the relationship between you two, now that you've been paired with her family in her mind. Don't blame yourself or wallow in sorrow, no good can come of it. Consistency in your disposition helps with these kind of things. Maybe even attempt to talk it over.

you probably got so nervous about impressing her parents that you probably did some stuff or acted in a way that she didn't like. this is all speculation, as i have no clue what happened between you guys, but maybe you declined on displaying small signs of affection with her because of the fear of seeming inappropriate with her folks? i highly doubt you acted completely normal when meeting her parents for the first time because it is a big step in a relationship and quite nerve-racking for a guy to meet a girls family.

Girls sometimes suck. I usually blame the period, and a lot of the time I'm right. Pretty much if I ever say anything wrong in my relationship or do one thing thats a little wrong, she's going to make me feel like there is a knife in my heart. If I ever encounter her about anything, I'm wrong and she's right - no chance for me to turn that around. *shrug*

Well, it took a long time, but I finally brought it up to her and we talked it out. According to her, she thought I was too drunk while we were out together. To give a little information behind this, I suggested a restaurant which has some very potent margaritas and her family seemed to be in agreement, so we went, drank, had a great time. She's not 21 yet, so she couldn't drink and the fact that she couldn't join us combined with the fact that she thought I was "too drunk" and was continuously talking to her mother, her father, and her uncle instead of her made her irritated. So yeah, all in all, she just felt like we were all having the fucking time of our lives without her and she fucking pouted about it the entire time ... which is kind of spoiled and immature if you ask me, but anyway.
Nothing too major, it seems like she's over it now. We're fine.
Also, I don't know how on earth I keep forgetting to mention this, but I have a class with a Korean (actually from Korea) and him and me ALWAYS talk about progaming during class. He's a big SC progaming fan and one day, he decided to quiz me and said
"Do you know who the FIRST champion of Starcraft was?"
Since I thought "There's no way he'll remember SSamJang ... that's way too early ... he's probably thinking of Guillaume"
So I said "Guillaume Patry"
To which he replied "Nope!"
Then I thought "There's no way his history goes back that far, only the most die-hard Korean fans know about the era of Lee Ki Seok aka SSamJang, ect, ect"
So then I said "Kook Ki Bong? aka TheBoy?"
And he said "Nope! It's Lee Ki Seok, you know him? SSamJang?"
And in that moment, I knew he would my friend for life.
Some other funny things: When I asked if he remembered Guillaume and Elky, he said "Yeah!! They're big losers now!! Gamblers!!" and then when I asked who his favourite player is, he said "Lim Yo Hwan, how can Starcraft fans like anyone else?" and when I asked about some of the more obscure progamers like Song Byung Seok (Autumn, old KTF player), he said "Yeah, Song Byung Seok!! He played like Kang Min!! You know Kang Min?"
He is such a blessing to me.
Edit: He also claims to have gone out drinking with either one or all (I wasn't paying enough attention during his story) of the members of Dong Bang Shin Ki.
