So, a maths teacher I used to have would tell the class that studies have shown that people are the most productive when listening to techno music. Must be something to do with the pumping adrenaline. As I am currently studying for an exam, please post some good techno music for me to appreciate! Here are a few I've been listening to:

jesus christ that's some horrible music you got there.

You should get into progressive trance/house/electronica seriously, that's where the REAL electronic music lies.

Try listening to some Deadmau5, Ashley Wallbridge, Gareth Emery, or some even more well-known artists such as Armin Van Buuren or Tiesto.

I highly doubt thats the kind of "techno" your teacher was talking about, sounds rather distracting in my opinion. Something more minimalistic should suite you better as it blends better into the background (unless you love it, then there is a certain risk you'll be cranking up the volume and won't get anything done at all^^)
