I first heard about this girl a few years back when she was part of Sage Francis' backup band. She played the saw, among other odd instruments, so I looked her up online. Some time later she released an EP from her website, and a friend and I split its steep 5 dollar price tag. It was good, but really only one song stood out as top notch. That song is now the first track on this album.
So the same friend wrote me an email recently-- we're in different towns bound for different countries now-- and he informed me that Dilly Dilly had released a full length. I think the way he described it to me, as 'looser' than her EP is very apt. I'm really liking it so I figured I would share.
