I mean like... he, along with the rest of the known Universe KNOWS his weakness is obviously cheese, so why on Earth do a build that puts you in such a hard position to defend from any sort of calculated early aggression? It was pretty obvious how bad his build was, since Nony did not even actually cheese that game, rather he made the proxies as a response, AFTER he scouted Idra. To me it shows a difficulty adapting, because the entire flow of this bo5 was EXTREMELY different from the set these guys played together after the end of the ladder stage. Idra lost a game there, a long macro game, and it seems to me that he was under the impression that he has to do a little bit better in the macro/long game area, in order to overrun his opponent completely. This was obviously not the case, and the flow of the game was very different, and this is Rekrul's most likely reasoning of why Nony had good chances to beat Idra, which is his superior mental state. just my 2 cents | ||
