Some basic pointers, your essay has to basically answer the question: what is the point? You should also focus on making the reader understand you better as a person. Those are the 2 questions and problems I see with every statement I get as people love throwing out their accomplishments and some story that most people don't care about. | ||

Some people have more helpful friends/families than others, sure, but they are also the ones with more money. Aren't we trying to lessen the disadvantage of having less money when going into college? I can't think of a global solution though. | ||
