short version: suggest a scene from a film/book/play/TV that is excellent in some fashion, and preferably discussion-worthy.
long version: having trouble coming up with a scene for my 1st speech presentation in my speech class..supposed to talk about and present a scene from a movie/book/play/show that is excellent/outstanding in quality. for a combined total of 8 minutes (showing the clip and talking about it.) ideally around 5 minutes and is worthy to talk about. I thought this would be easy but it's a bit harder than I expected. can include R rated material but should be tasteful
i'd prolly chose one of these if this assignment was given to me:
Glengarry Glen Ross - Alec Baldwin's Scene
Network
Network - Mad as Hell
If you're strapped for shit to say I'd select one of the scenes from Network as they apply more today than they did 30 years ago. Back then the movie was criticized for being too over-the-top. You could also talk about how the Internet fills the role that the TV did in those days. Iono just some ideas if you wanna throw in a clip from some lesser known movies... sounds like a fun class. glhf.
