I just want to share this foosball that we bought last September.
To make it more fun, we decided to name all players in the foosball table: 
Obviously, the red team is SKT T1 and the blue team is all-star team.
We normally forgot the five players in the center for the all-star team. Leta and Skyhigh used to be there but I changed it to effort and movie instead.
For SKT T1, Midas used to take Soo’s position, and now I don’t know who should replace Midas so I just chose Soo, or should I put Doctor K instead?
The goalie should be big enough to block the goal so we decided to put Bunkie and Shogun… I wonder where Shogun and his female counterpart are now (but it’s a good thing that KT finally dumped them after changing their names to just KT).
If you guys want to change the players in our foosball table, just reply to this post. But you may only change the 10 players in the center. Tnx.

Flash should be the goalie, walling in + turtling = No goals against.
Also, I think bunkie is imba, clearly no one can beat a mascot.

What makes the distinction between jitz and foosball? Aren't they essentially the same thing?
Anyhow, I love foosball. There's 2 foosball tables in the uni common room (for our department ONLY, hahaha) and it's easily the most popular lunchtime competition everyday.
Based on your table, I'd be playing blue (because theres KHAN players @ blue)...

The following does NOT count as a goal:
- Midfield shot (so you can't spam from midfield and score)
- ANY non-goalie deflections (anything off other players, walls, your own players -> no goal. If it goes off the goalie and in, then it's goal)
- ANY self-goals (hahaha)
So pretty much the only ways to score is: non-deflected shots from front three or back two (goalie can shoot too, but it's super-risky because the "Bisu" or "JD" will stuff it back into your net). We figured this forces the player to use more skill by eliminating all lucky bounce goals. People here use all sorts shots from drag, one-timer, diagonal, twitch fake, etc.
- Occasional off-the-wall self-pass from SavioR (to himself) into 20 degree diagonal D-snipe shot
- More frequently, top-to-mid dragshot from NaDa
- Midfield is mostly just spazz, just need to get the ball to offense or knock it back hard enough to avoid Best/Bisu/Fantasy from getting possession
- With Flash I usually either lateral pass to JD into quick one-timer, or diagonal shot (hit half the ball, you get a nice diagonal shot)
- JD usually takes feed from either Flash or Stork, but can sometimes push-drag shot into top corner. Occasionally, "stuffs" shots from BoxeR and Oov (swing back at D when D takes a shot).
- Stork either lateral pass to JD, or push-drag shot into bottom corner

shogun was the mascot of ktf. really scary mascot. i don't know where he is now. he has a female counterpart and i can't remember the name.

Jitz - the people are just pretty much bare bones (really skinny and usually just one basic colour - red and blue) I think the goal size is smaller for a Jitz table too.
Foosball - the people look like actual people with painted on heads, pants, arms, etc and are usually bulkier.
With Foosball its harder to do those crossshots, or twitch shots, and like aerials, etc.

After doing some brief research on this Jitz game, the only conclusion I can come to is that Jitz is just another word for foosball, possibly of Italian origin.
All the foosball stores seem to have the one-color pieces as well as the detailed pieces, both of which are sold as foosball tables. Perhaps at one point in time there was a distinction between the two, but I think at this point it all falls under the blanket category of foosball.

There are many names for foosball. Although i haven't heard of Jitz, the table that kore pictured is the Garlando foosball table. There are also many different tables - the current standard in the US is the tornado, although the Warrior is a popular alternative. In Europe there are many different choices. I believe the French favor the bonzini, the germans the ... techball? and the british something entirely different, I think it's what the OP has though.
Foosball is a great game, I love to play it. I take a bit more seriously than most because when I got to college I found out about the competitive foosball scene ...
Anyway, most serious shots (pull, pin shot, snake) are executed by bisu and jaedong. People also shoot from the 2bar, so boxer, oov, nada, and savior are strong threats as well.
I would encourage everyone to take a more serious approach to foosball ^^ youtube some names: Frederic Collignon (the Roger Federer of foosball), Billy Pappas, Tony Spredeman, Rob Atha. You'll see some pro games and be amazed. There are also some really nice tutorials on how to shoot and pass. It's a ton of fun ... and a much deeper game than most people understand.

the favourite in germany is actually the lehmacher, tecball is not very common because control is ridicolously easy. Besides the Lehmacher i like the tornado, its not thaat different.
Tornado>> Garlando or the french stuff.
The term foosball is hilarious btw, it's basicly the pronounciation of the german word for football.
