I hope you have a basement. Get only the important shit in there and your starcraft CD if it happens to hit where you live.
So ....instead of getting to safety you decide to blog TL
Now that's commitment
definitely save your starcraft cd at all costs.
If you were a smart piggy you would've made your house out of brick.

Get only the important shit in there and your starcraft CD

Well it was raining and windy much stronger earlier which died down to almost nothing right now, I still see people walking around and driving around like a normal rainy day.

For situations like this RL burrow would be nice. Seriously though, good luck, stuff like this is no fun.
What's a good place to get local news online at, I don't have a TV

mom just called and said it was in laguna (20-30 miles south of me) and overturned a few cars already.
Save the CD key and your Laptop/PC. Since you should already be using the no-CD option you don't need any disks immediately.
I hope the tornado doesn't hit too hard.

do you or do you not have a basement ~_~

This is intense. I think I live too far inland for the tornadoes to really be an issue, but that must be scary closer to the coast.

This building is made of bricks. Although there is a small leak in the roof.

lol good thing I decided to go home early from camping. Tents do not bode well in a tornado.
I am posting here to let you know that I will continue your posting legacy in the event of death by tornado
good luck charlie, hope you'll be okay
I just thought of how awesome that would be to die by tornado.

Silly. Burrow doesn't protect you from storm.

Follow the Yellow Brick Road!

I mean, the sound of it is fuckin badass (Uncle Chalz, died in a tornado, god rest his soul) but I can't imagine it being particularly great way to die

Not if they start falling onto your head.

on a somewhat unrelated note, I found the live news feed which is just spamming details about random news right now. http://abclocal.go.com/wls/livenow?id=7115549 and it says that china is banning avatar for the content and the fact that it is taking away from chinese market. but they still play the 3d and imax versions lol.

Touché!

nice - a little wind to stir things up a bit. Hurricanes are scary but tornadoes? Cant you not just move 100 meter and then you are like safe? Thats how it works in hollywood movies anyway.
Quickly, you can only choose one thing to save in your tornado shelter, your gf, or your computer (and all the computer stores in town are destroyed in the tornado).
Charlie you are just too unique, Tl can't afford to lose you. I hope you won't die man.
Ok, Just got the follow up call canceling the tornado warning.
fuck you
we have snow here. The only thing we get are winter weather advisaries. I wish we could get tornado warnings in January in Michigan.
There was a tornado warning last year in Canada. EVERYONE freaked out.
wells at least if it hits we'll know why you stopped posting. Seriously? Blogging an evactuation warning?

ahah! Yea don't forget the sc cd!

I didn't move from Nebraska to California for this... the rain was pretty heavy but it's sunny out now, just a few hours later.
Isn't a basement a bad idea for electronics... since there is flooding?
I was expecting more entertaining ending.
Tornado failed the hype.
lol tornado warning has been revoked.
I was gonna say that if you died I would actually be sad irl

the day after tomorrow was right.

Yesterday and tomorrow look to be similar forecasts though. Lots of flooding and winds, some of the worst weather So.Cal/LA has seen in a long time.
I finally saw some aftermath footage on the news just now, in Sunset Beach (which is like 3 miles or less away from where I work) there were boats and roofs being thrown around. A couple cars toppled over. People claiming that they saw dingies (is that the proper pluralization?) 100 feet in the air lol.
If it's any consolation on me being fucked up, I left my wallet in my friends car and have no way to get to work tomorrow, also I am sick - I think it might be strep throat.
Wait until you actually see a funnel cloud forming....that will seriously scare the sh*t out of you. Its hard to describe the feeling.
Your pics or from news? Either way, that's badass and I can only imagine what would be going through my head if I saw a funnel cloud descending from the sky... probably change my underwear

I think being in a twister out on the ocean would be fun. There is really nothing there to hurt you right? Weeeeeeeeee
(dunno if it would pull limbs out of socket though, and you'd probably end up naked lol)
That is a sick picture of the tornado. the only encounter with a tornado i had was in a nightmare

what's at the end of that board walk? :s

On January 21 2010 08:24 Revolt wrote: what's at the end of that board walk? :s It's a Ruby's Diner, they have them at the end of piers sometimes around here. If you don't know, Ruby's are like a Johnny Rockets, Woody's, or some other faky old fashioned diner 50s style place. overpriced decent food.
