Whenever I look over the latest hilarious bans in the Automated Ban List, I see familiar names. People with lots of posts too. Experienced site members really should know better, but get temp bans for avoidable things like trolling, insulting people, racism, spoiling games etc.
Then I ask myself: Am I the only one who never got banned?
TL's strict common sense/postcount based moderation may seem unfair at times, but actually it isn't and bans are generally well-deserved. The rules are really easy to follow, and it surprises me how even experienced posters sometimes wack out.
Now my question is this: How well-behaved are you? How long have you (non-staff) guys survived without moderator intervention? Who trumps my 1420 posts without a temp ban or even a warning?

I've had 2x two day bans.
One for posting a ridiculously big image in an SPL thread when I was at like...50 posts or something, and the other time because someone (I forget who) said something so ignorant about a progamer because he was a bitter fanboy I said, "wow...fuck you" and got banned for that.
But nothing serious.
Honestly, TL is one of the few forums I post on regularly, and I wouldn't even have started if the mod group wasn't so amazing. I like how strict they are, and how they don't let anyone slide. It keeps the riff raff out and quality up, but most importantly it keeps the TeamLiquid reputation up and makes us all proud to be members.

My posting quality has gotten worse in the last few years. I still make decent strat forum posts from time to time and occasionally contribute to general but I also tend to post the first thing that comes to my head more. Never been properly banned. One 30 minute ban by Rekrul for making an icc blog after he said not to but it got reversed and one requested ban.

I got temp banned once i even remember who it was from, Twisted, but i dont remember why

I got warned by fakesteve twice I think actually. Once through the official warning system for arguing when the subject was a derail he told people not to continue and once for all the saddles lols.

i hide in the dota thread. some how only one person has been banned in that thread and that was due to like two pages of one word spamming

Just went out a ban. First one though. After all, 750 post without incident is not too bad, for a Frenchman.

i've never been banned! only been temp banned once because i wanted to study, and well that didn't really work because i just continued reading and not posting on TL lawl.

being well-behaved on a forum (where you can remain anonymous to those around you) is a good characteristic to have. those who are well-behaved here are probably well-behaved (or at least better behaved) in real life
and i've never been warned or banned.

I prefer completely unmoderated forums, as they generally lead to better entertainment (which is the only reason I visit forums). However, I've never been banned from this site (though I have from many others, including year long bans for things not ban-worthy).

I think the moderation on TL is very reasonable. Unless you post very tasteless stuff, you can have fun just fine. Foul language is very much tolerated, and fuck, I fucking like that, bitch. Only when you behave like an ass or go far beyond the borders of good taste are you banned, and I don't like to see that anyway. The average post quality around here is far higher than on most other forums, apart from the occasional overused meme or Idra drama.
I find it funny how TL is perceived on GosuGamers.net. Half their community consists of kids who despise TL's "unfairness" because they misbehaved and got banned here, and now they go on shitting all over GG.net's poorly moderated forums with their crappy posts.

Is this some kind of TL.net admin scam for well-behaving posters to undercover themselves and get banned :D or are you just trying to show off.
