I am really proud of him. He is 13 years old, and on Sunday he played with a professional orchestra. He is the boy on the piano.  He practiced really hard, and played an almost flawless Concerto with the orchestra, not something every 13 year old can do   | ||

Congrats to your brother, that's quite an accomplishment. Also the orchestra didn't tune to a 440 and it bothers me. | ||

It's not Rachmaninoff I suppose, but technical difficulty doesn't equal skill. I thought it was pretty good, it's hard to play that well with a real orchestra in front of an audience. It's actually very disconcerting and vastly different from practicing alone in your room. | ||
