Yeah I don't think he has legit information there.
But I do believe the game going multiplatform may have hurt the PS3 version. 360 doesn't have blu-ray so they cant make the whole world connected at once so it will work with multiple discs (which can interfere with certain gameplay elements).
iono, the game has had a graphical downgrade as well but i doubt its because of the multiplatform.
otherwise Square stated they were going to make each version the exact same quality, so i wouldn't worry too much.
it is PS3 exclusive in Japan though, and FF13 Versus is PS3 exclusive worldwide so its something to keep in mind if your a guy who buys his consoles for Final Fantasy games =p

Sorry, but I read the news like 2 months ago and I already forgot where I read it.
But trust me, I didn't make this one up, it is TRUE that the 360 version will have less quest and inaccessible town after certain course of the game.
If you think about it logically, the 360 version will be consist of 3 disc, so, for example, in disc 1, there will be 5 town (A,B,C,D,and E). When you change to disc 2, town A and B may no longer accessible, (or in other word,removed) because the need the space for town F and G.
It goes the same for the quest. For example, if quest #98 require you to revisit town A, it is not possible because starting from disc 2, town A is no longer available, thus, they need to remove the quest.

Sadly, I don't have a PS3 (yet?). I really hope there will be a PS3 + FFXIII package vwith a discount when FFXIII is out. PS3 is such a rip off.

Holy shit, those graphics look absolutely gorgeous. Really looking forward to 13. Combat is fine, as 12 showed. Only thing holding 12 back was the ridiculous grinding. Terrible.

12's combat was really boring IMO. The whole game was kinda.. not fun to play really :S
I dont really understand 13s combat system quite yet, but it seems alot more fun than 12.
