After + Show Spoiler +Jaedong lost to savior today
The theory of the "savior curse" says that, if you get destroyed by savior, you will start winning, but if you destroy savior, you will start losing/getting into a slump.
I believe the origin of this curse started in the savior-flash match in SPL all-star.
There are some more rules of the savior curse:
1.The harder you let savior destroy/rape you, the harder your winning streak will be, and the harder you rape savior, the deeper your slump will be.
Flash nuked himself, and let savior build an army of queens in his match vs savior in the all-star game. That is when his god-mode started running.
He beat savior again on 10-25, so he lost to Best a few days later. But of course he let savior rape him so hard on that all-star game, so his streak cannot end yet.
2. If two people both get destroyed by savior, then whoever gets destroyed by savior first has the advantage over the latter one.
See: savior vs Guemchi, savior vs upmagic, and Guemchi vs upmagic
3. While the savior curse has not applied true in all cases, it is in fact true to some extent in many situations:
Zero destroyed savior, then lost the ace match.
Jaedong gets destroyed savior, then won the ace match.
Roro started winning again after getting destroyed by savior.
Kal after his next match after destroying savior.
hyvaa is not playing well after destroying savior, although it is true that he wasn't playing well prior to the match either.
While Hogil may appear to be an exception at first sight, but notice that when you take out the games vs flash (who get destroyed by savior first thus has the advantage), he wasn't doing too bad immediately after getting destroyed by savior.
Now according to the theory, Pusan should start winning again. Let's see what happens...

Just wondering... How does JD playing the smartest game of his life lost to sAviOr? As much as I hate to say it, I don't really see sAviOr being up to par to JD at his best.

So he either loses games and ensures that whoever beats him does poorly after that, or he wins games and goes on to make sure that whoever he beats goes on to win against everyone else.
Sounds like whether its by his own hand or not, Savior is still destroying everyone in 2009!

let's be real, savior hasn't been playing badly for months now. inconsistent sure, but he's still a great player.

I don't remember a game which Bisu won against savior in 09 so that would make sense too then

Actually, Bisu destroyed Savior before Bogus in 2006. The earliest Bogus destroyed Savior was 2008.
