Are there any techniques I can do to improve on this? For example, listening to Lil Wayne, his voice is really comfortable to listen to.

Rap more, get more confidence, etc. As you stop having problems looking for words and get more experience you will find it just sounds better in general.

Lil Wayne could rap about anything in any voice and he would still have exactly what you are talking about. Also how do you become obsessed at free styling? Do you mean WITH free styling? I swear avid rap/hip-hop fans are linguistically inept.

Of course, the first step to making something seem like a new, distinct field is inventing words so other people who have already done it all don't know what you're talking about. But seriously OP, what you're looking to become competent at is called singing. "Rapping Voice", rofl.

Spit - Verb - To eject from the mouth. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/spit (#5) Flow - Verb - To proceed continuously and smoothly. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/flow (#7) Honestly, even if the definitions didn't match, slang is pretty commonly accepted. No need to come around and make yourself look like a twat over casual word usage. If you aren't interested in the blog then you and your ego can just click somewhere else.

The words spit and flow bring a colorful connotation akin to me describing you as an infested suture inplace of 'armed'.

I think it's funny that someone who's going to try using any derivation of the word "linguistics" would be so fucking unaware of the hypocrisy of this idiotic statement. Linguistics is the fucking study of language, yet you come in with your prescriptive bullshit and call people simpletons.
