Through Anytime and ForGG, through the Shinhan Bank Proleague Grand Finals, and even through Killer and nukes, my appreciation/love for Oz has stood but not firmly. Now granted this isn't all that long ago, but for an Oz fan its felt like that.Even my FPL has sat through Hwaseung Oz, with no trades. I'm not gonna throw away my fanboyism for Oz, but I'm coming to a realization, whether or not it has to do with JD's new contract or Cho's "lets make another zerg superstar in less than a year", I can't say, but Oz is tilting on the balance and I'm beginning to doubt. With tonight's match I hope to see Cho not make Oz fans slit their wrists by sending Killer for the Ace match.
Please hope we don't see this again..
Oz fighting!
Poll: Oz or Nahz (Vote): Stick with Jaedong Oz and Crazy Cho (Vote): Find another team, your lucks running out.
Yeah I decided to bank on Jaedong and Oz doing awesome this season for my fantasy team, man was I wrong.
Everyone who went with Flash had much better forethought than I did. I dont really know what Oz can do to be honest, it seems like Jaedong isnt reliable to take it to ace and neither is two other players right now for Oz.
Its not that bad you guys - were still at the beginning of round 1. The Killer fad by Coach Cho was stupid, both as an idea in itself and in who he chose to give this "crash course" to, but its not nearly as bad as losing Anytime was.
Plus Jaedong is still ungodly good and therefore how much trouble can we really be in.
True fan is recognized by staying with his team through bad times! I know i had my hard times last season with KT, but i cheered for them even when flash was mini-slumping. If you change your team only because they aren't performing perfectly, you are just "succes whore".
haha I'll stick by Oz since it's already been this long and Atrioc made a great point, losing Anytime was much much worse, I'll just have to see how things turn out. Hopefully my next blog will be delighting in my fanboyism of Oz

I think a lot of people expect way too much of Jaedong as he was so dominant at the end of last season. Few losses here and there mean nothing.
A real fan wouldnt have a poll asking people if he should stay a fan. imo you dont care for this team much and should move on and find a team you can care about.

This.

And this.
Don't people remember how abysmal SKT's record was in PL R1 last year? Look how that turned out.
More completely inexplicable bullshit for Oz fans to ponder over tonight. To be honest, I can forgive jumping ship now. It's not as if Oz are going through a rough patch, it's almost as if they're going out of their way to lose and test the patience of their fans.

No problem.
I think the poll is bizarre as of when i post this (close to 50%) because real Oz fans don't want fairweather guys rooting for their team. They're voting for you to hop on another bandwagon to filter you guys out. Sticking with your team through these tough times is what being a fan is all about
It's better that they try this crap in round 1 since it *might* pay off later on, whereas just JD-whoring like they did last season will just have them failing in the playoffs like they did against SKT. Of course if it doesn't pay off, then they won't have been worthy of making the playoffs to begin with, so whatever. If any of Killer/Perfectman/Spear/Lomo/Backho grow under pressure and start providing consistent results later on, these early losses will be a rather cheap price to pay for adding a reliable starter to the lineup.
I should add that this is the only way to wean the rest of Oz off of riding Jaedong's coattails, as well as the only way Oz (and every team besides KT and SKT lol) can augment their lineup.
Mr.Cho is simply doing his team and his number #1 player a world of good
1. Resting Jaedong = Reducing stress, work overload and energy ( FA controversy about him mega stressed )
2. Moulding his lower class players into stronger advanced players by sending them out into the Abyss allowing them to gain the experience needed so one day Oz won't have to rely on Jaedong constantly.
In the business world this is called Diversification, if supply from one source runs out... they simply rely on the second source this is essential for business success
This is better imo. They can't hope to win proleagues off a single player. But they're building up, and in a couple seasons they'll be a top team no problem.
