Has anyone gone out to see the meteor shower? The peak was last night for those in North America but it will last for a couple more days. This was the first time I went to a really dark location on a farm, and it was pretty amazing. I saw maybe 20 or 30 over the course of an hour, even though it was a few hours before the peak. I think I saw four or five that left glowing trails too.

This year's is especially nice since the moon isn't out so it'll be extra dark.. also I believe Asia is supposed to have to best location, so if you live there you should try and check it out.

I'm told it will peak at about 3pm KST. Last night was supposed to be the strongest but I think it will peter out over the next day or so...

We went last night even though it wasn't peak time. Saw just a single meteor, it was quite bright and thick. It was kind of cloudy though so we gave up after not too long.

I went on my building's roof last night during the peak....couldn't see shit. It was pretty cloudy too though

saw one gigantic one that lasted like 2 full seconds and was HUGE (in relation to the other standard ones at least). Even had some faint green in it too. It was beautiful.

Wanted to see it, couldn't stay up. I'm getting too old. Plus, after seeing the flurry of meteors in 2001 Leonid's, nothing else could possibly compare.

I didn't see this, but someone who did told me they didn't see anything. My physics teacher said he saw 3, but that was it.

I guess it really depends on how much light is around, since apparently I saw a lot more than most people. Where I was, the Milky Way was really bright and even the faint constellations were visible. I think it also helped that my friend had a convertible he turned into an "astronomy vehicle" with heated seats so we could stay out for hours

edit: it should be visible from the southern hemisphere too, as long as it's after midnight (this goes for all locations)
